I give it a week before he calls out Punk.

Not a great idea. Just like Punk, his actual background doesn't warrant a pro MMA career. I have faith that he can do whatever he sets his mind to. Just like Punks fans did when he signed with UFC.
But look how that turned out ..

That's awesome. That can add so much to his career. Hope he does good. He can be the white Bobby Lashley.

This does belong in the MMA board, but whatever. I think Ryback would do as good as Punk did in UFC, which means not as good. BTW, this proves Bellator is the TNA of MMA

Good for him. I've always liked Ryback. He seems like a passionate guy, and if pursuing an MMA career is something he truly wants to do, then more power to him. I don't understand why so many people like to crap on guys like like Punk or Ryback for following their dreams and living their lives the way they want to. It's like people take personal offense to guys who want to make a living away from the WWE.

The fighters I've seen fight Lashley were complete jokes. I swear one guy only attempted 4 punches one round. He stood there waiting for Lashley to do something so he could take a dive.
Bellator would feed(no pun intended) the same level of crap fighters to Ryback.
All that being said, I would love to see Lashley fight Ryback.

I don't understand why so many people like to crap on guys like like Punk or Ryback for following their dreams and living their lives the way they want to. It's like people take personal offense to guys who want to make a living away from the WWE. - Personal insecurities/jealously. People who have failed, or have never been able to pursue a dream, are envious of those that do. - There are people that would love to be a wrestler and can't understand why someone would walk away from it, or the money. - Sometimes people just think the decision the wrestler is making is foolish and want to voice their opinion. They don't do so to be a judgmental ass or a jerk, they are just saying they don't think it's a good idea. There is nothing wrong with this. - A lot of people are just a-holes

Good for him...but like others, I'm wondering how long it will be until he calls Punk out as well.

Hope this isn't another case of believing your own hype. Actors and wrestlers are portraying tough guys, and sometimes it goes to their head. Once they put it to the test they get destroyed.
Also... not a current WWE talent, so I gotta move it.

He should've went to Japan. That's what I was thinking...perhaps team with Nakanishi as a new take on 'Muscle Orchestra'.

Probably an "I'll show you" move on Ryback's part. I doubt he has a true passion for MMA. Same thing that happened with Punk. Signing out of spite. But I do think Punk loves MMA.
