The thing with Bellator is they do freak show type fights like Pride did. They are not supposed to be used for title implications just a fun fight.
As for calling out CM Punk, while that sounds good it would have to be a fight with no weight classes. Punk just fought at 170lbs Ryback is about 80-90lbs heavier than that.

Thats why all this nonsense about Ryback vs CM Punk in MMA has to stop. Even a circus like Bellator cant put that fight together, at least not in the US, even if they wanted to.

The only place that could happen would be Japan. No athletic commission will allow it. Hell no athletic commission will sanction Punk to fight again. He has to fight in Brazil or Japan to even be able to fight again.

Even Ryback at 35 with zero MMA experience will have a hard time getting sanctioned for a fight by a SAC and people want him to fight Bobby Lashley

He will have to try and file for an exemption like Punk did. UNLESS he does the smart thing and fights amateur fights underneath a professional banner. Like CM Punk should have done, but now he can't un ring that bell. Can't go pro back to amateur.

Not a great idea. Just like Punk, his actual background doesn't warrant a pro MMA career. I have faith that he can do whatever he sets his mind to. Just like Punks fans did when he signed with UFC. But look how that turned out .. Michael Jordan did the same thing when he retired for the first time and wanted a Baseball career. He got his wish but he sucked at it and became a joke
