The NFL trying to go in on TNF is terrible, IMO. It's not happening yet, but it feels like it will. There always has and always will be Chocolate Shark TNF games, live with it. Flexing is getting bad enough with the MNF addition, really don't need to do the same with Thursday. Sunday 1:00 and 4:00 need to keep some love too. So for now teams are eligible for 2 TNF games, and not every team is required to play one. And playing 3 TNF games is possible too, as long as one of the games is not a "short-week" game. Example: Dallas playing TNF the week after Thanksgiving, that would not count as a "short-week" game and they could also be scheduled for a TNF game in week 4 or whatever. Or the Chiefs will probably get 3 Thursday games, since they'll have the Thursday opener which would allow for 2 more regularly scheduled ones throughout the year.

It’s sadly all about $$$, Amazon is paying a ridiculous amount for games and it was a loss leader, because half the games aren’t any good. So basically planning the schedule in advance to give them more competitive match ups. I agree it sucks to basically have certain teams play that many Thursday games as the games usually suck because teams are on a short week but at the end of the day $$$.

TNF has always had a lot of subpar games/matchups. Amazon got what they paid for last season.

How far does everybody think Rodgers get the Jets as of right now before the draft? I've seen people act like this is gonna put them over the top and guarantee a division title and challenge KC and Cincy. With this division and conference as tough as it is,I still don't see them getting the division title and gonna be 2nd-3rd wild card at best. Imo KC and the Bengals are pretty far above the rest of the conference then you have 6-8 other teams really close. Buffalo and Miami(If Tua is ok) are still above NY personally.

I'm a little biased because I don't like Rodgers, but I still don't think the Jets make the playoffs.

The Jets have some tough games this year. Besides the division they get KC, Chargers, and Eagles at home which I would think they aren't favored to win any of those games. They also have Washington, Houston, and Atlanta at home but I could see the Jets taking those three. Washington might give them trouble. Then they have Dallas and Giants away which I don't think they would be favored in, and Denver who might bounce back this year, Raiders, and Cleveland.

What kind of monster do you think he is? Maybe if he ate unpeeled bananas or was scared of milk you’d have a reason to be worried.

I know who he is from seeing Michigan play a lot, but I don’t really know about his pro prospects. I thought Mayer would no doubt be the first TE taken, can’t believe he was the third. Raiders were said to have been trying to trade into the end of the first round last night, I bet this was why, looking to get Mayer.

I had high hopes for Trey but he just hasnt been able to make the necessary adjustments. They'd spot use him his first year and he would show signs of potential...but couldnt capitalize on it in practice. Then when Jimmy G went down he had a spot start and if he nailed it...he could be off and running...Then he was mediocre & we were back to Jimmy..Then got the shot again & got hurt...The next year he was GIVEN the job was mediocre the first game and injured the 2nd game and Jimmy stepped back in...Then when Jimmy went down Brock came in & never looked back.
No reason to pay a guy who seems to be injury prone, cant get past QB2-QB3 that kinda money to be an emergency QB.
