Anyone actually think the Jets are gonna leverage their future for a shot to win a championship with Rodgers? Idk the AFC is crazy stacked. Him coming there doesn’t even make them the favorite in their own division.

I think that’s up for debate, about them being favorites in the division. Regardless, yes, why not take the shot? If you’re lucky you could get a championship followed by a murky future. Or you continue being mediocre with a likely murky future.

Speaking of QBs, that no one is even willing to meet with Lamar Jackson just reeks of collusion lol

I don't understand. Are teams worried about him staying healthy for what should be a price tag higher than Daniel Jones?

Speaking of QBs, that no one is even willing to meet with Lamar Jackson just reeks of collusion lol I agreed with you. It is my dream to watch wrestling in real life but tickets to their events are way too high and that is why I can't afford them. But now I can afford their tickets and it is all because of my friend who shared casinosanalyzer.com/online-casinos/jackpotmolly.com website with me which helped me in finding Jackpot Molly casino sites through which I can make a lot of money while staying at home and with the help of that money I am gonna buy tickets to their matches.

I am not sure if it’s collusion or he wants to be the top paid QB in the league and he just isn’t that guy. He is a very good QB but I feel like he is right outside the top 5 right now.

Sure, and if teams refuse to give him a fully guaranteed deal I can understand that. But to just flat out say you don't have any interest in pursuing him before you can even confirm what it is he wants (maybe he should have have an agent, admittedly)? In a league where everyone is always talking about the importance of having a good QB? When just 5 minutes ago I read how the Texans, Panthers, and Raiders have interest in Jimmy G but none of them will even meet with Lamar Jackson? Washington traded for Wentz last year and now Lamar Jackson is an option and they're like "nah fam, we good"? I've fallen down the conspiracy theorist hole.

What’s the conspiracy though? That’s what I’m missing.

Jackson wants the Watson deal and owners do not want that to become the norm. The Browns were the only ones that were willing to do it. Owners want it to be the outlier. Plus if a team draws something up, Baltimore will just come back and match it and make it pointless for a team to offer, unless it's not about money and Jackson wants out of Baltimore. But it's all about the money. Having no agent hurts too.
I really hope that Rodgers goes to the Jets. And then the Vikings so he will complete his transformation into Favre.

Im not throwing the Brinks truck at any Quarterback unless they've won a Super Bowl already. People get caught up in these Madden stats & there's just more to being Quarterback. First thing that stands out to me is the fact Jackson stats have not only declined since his MVP year so has his record (not all his fault) but also his reliability. Why drop $40 mil on a QB that may or may not play all year long?
On top of that if you're trying to rebuild a team or if you've already got a solid foundation, why would you want to take up all that cap space on 1 guy? I mean if you're a GM (using my team) building a team do you want Purdy/Lance, McCaffrey, Samuel, Aiyuk & Kittle or Jackson, Dobbins, Bateman,, Robinson & Andrews?....Both are likely to get you into the playoffs but one is going to be able to afford other key pieces especially on defense while the other will stick you JPP & Calais Campbell.
Ill take an above average team friendly QB with loaded pieces around him over a superstar QB and mediocre pieces around him any day of the week.

Ngl,this whole Lamar thing does feel odd when Jones and Geno just got big pay days and a former MVP can't get a meeting(and I'm as far as you can get from being a Lamar fan).
About the Rodgers/Jets situation, I say yes why not. People saying all the time you gotta have that great QB to win the big one,its not many of them out there and even less willing to go to the Jets. So I say go ahead, you gonna have to do something to stay close to KC,Cincy and Buffalo.

Lamar Jackson is not worth the two first round draft picks that would go to the Ravens and $200 mill fully guaranteed. No team is going to do that.

Do those picks come from the team or are they just compensated to Baltimore? I always thought it was compensated.

Do those picks come from the team or are they just compensated to Baltimore? I always thought it was compensated. The team that signs him would have to give up the picks. I keep hearing all of these sportscasters blaming the Ravens for this whole situation but honestly I feel like Lamar screwed Lamar. He could have been making 50mil a year ($290 for 6 years) and rejected it because everyone wants the guaranteed big money big year contract, and I can’t think of anyone in any sports program that has been worth that contract for the entire length of the deal. We’re talking a guy who had a phenomenal MVP year and then has had injuries to his legs every year since. Missed 4-5 games 2021 with an ankle sprain, Missed 6 games in 2022 with Knee sprain. That has to weigh on the contractual process for Baltimore (or any other team who has to give up two first round picks for that matter). As Nivro said above, take a look at the 49ers. They got to where they did this year not because of their QB in many situations but rather in spite of it because they had top 1-2 defenses in the NFL, McCaffrey Deebo, etc…. Jalen Hurts threw for a little over 100 yards in his last few games as the Eagles dominated their opponents. Because their O-Line and D-Line dominated. Losing two draft picks and likely paying more than $290 million a year cannot be a contract many teams want to jump at, regardless if you were MVP two seasons ago.

Jimmy G is a Raider
If Rodgers doesn't go,then the Jets are gonna have Wilson again next year

Watching so many guys leave the Niners is crushing...But at least we still have a loaded freaking team. Seeing other teams in the NFC that loaded up for runs, and are now having fire sales to get back under the cap.
