The real difference maker between this year and last year is that last year Foles was damn near perfect. The last 2 weeks he had 4 picks and missed several throws.
That said, I'd keep him and trade fragile little Wentz. Talent means nothing when it's holding a clipboard on the sidelines.

It’s no small task to beat the Pats, regardless who’s house you are in.
The reigning AFC champions of the last two years. 8 consecutive championship games. 2 rings during that span to go with the 3 before them.
Here’s to hoping for a good, injury free game. And that we might get the chance to raise the Lamar Hunt trophy in the house he built.
That’s be a magical moment.

I want Andy Reid to get his ring. He deserves it.

Now the Eagles know how it feels when Brady fumbled the football and lost the game last year. That's karma for Eagle fans.

We weren't even supposed to BE THERE last night. We did what we could with even 5th and 6th team players.

Let’s go Chiefs! Do it for Andy! I don’t mind the Chiefs but lost respect for Reid when he basically threw Alex Smith under the bus for their collapse in the playoffs last year. Last time I checked the defense gave up 20+ points, not Smith.

Last time I checked the defense gave up 20+ points, not Smith. Stuff like that doesn’t bother me. The man had to do what he had to do to get Mahommes in there. We all see that was a world class decision. Mahommes showed me more in a single season than Alex Smith has in his whole career. Andy wanted a change and I don’t blame him. Yeah, the D gave up the points but at the same time, it doesn’t hurt to score to protect your lead.

I agree that going with Maholmes was 100% the right decision but trashing Smith on the way out didn’t seem right, atleast to me. They’re two totally different QBs. Despite Smith’s shortfalls he helped lead them to multiple playoff appearances. Reid questioning his toughness to the media was a low blow.

Last time I checked the defense gave up 20+ points, not Smith. I’m sorry, but that’s just not true. Closest he got to “throwing him under the bus” was calling him out for multiple interceptions during the Giants game. I’ve never heard, read, or seen Reid take an actual shot at Alex. Hell, he tried to trade for Alex while Reid was still with the Eagles. Even the “shot” everyone thought he took at Alex during trading camp ended up being a comment on Mahomes learning not to be overly cautious after starting off camp with some picks. To each their own but I can’t buy that narrative.

Now the Eagles know how it feels when Brady fumbled the football and lost the game last year. That's karma for Eagle fans. LOL. Karma. We literally had a secondary half made up of practice squad players and numerous injuries to our O-line and RB core. Our star WR was playing with broken ribs. Oh, and we were riding our second string QB again. The fact we made it to the playoffs in the first place is a miracle, let alone defeating the #1 ranked defense for the second year in a row, and nearly defeated the #1 ranked team in the conference. Pats are in the Super Bowl every other year, and their fans can't handle losing one out of how many? Also, trade "fragile" Wentz and keep Foles. Ha. A torn ACL and a back fracture that he could've played through if the team allowed it equates to being fragile?

I wouldn't mind an LA/KC Super Bowl, their MNF game was a pretty fun watch. As a high school football coach I felt the opposite. Wild chucking the ball up in the air, turnovers everywhere, no defensive play whatsoever, clock management was terrible. Just sloppy.

When the bitch gets hurt again next year, and the next, and the next, I bet you're singing a different tune. Fyi, he played 1 full season in college. Was a backup 2 years. And his senior year...missed 8 games with an injury. This is a pattern. Fact is, Nick Foles won that team their 1st super bowl. Fact is, wentz had a LOSING RECORD THIS YEAR. Foles got them in the playoffs. Foles won against that top ranked defense. Foles put them in position to win vs the saints. Not Wentz. Through 3 NFL season, wentz has as many good season as rg3 or kaepernick. 1. Let that sink in while you defend your golden boy. Your fragile, broken, little golden boy.

You do know that our defense started playing 10x better after Wentz was shut down, right? And our defense was the reason we lost multiple games under Wentz, right? 3,074 yards, 21 TDs, 7 INT, 69.6 comp %, and a 102.2 QB rating isn't a good season? Huh. A broken wrist, torn ACL/MCL, and back fracture don't make him injury prone. It would be one thing if it were reoccurring injuries in the same part of the body, but they're all just freak injuries. And no, Foles did not put them in a position to beat the Saints, because he couldn't do a damn thing against them after their first two drives. Foles is an average QB that has had some miraculous runs the last two seasons, but anyone who thinks he's a better long-term option than Wentz is utterly insane.

Foles is an average QB that has had some miraculous runs the last two seasons, but anyone who thinks he's a better long-term option than Wentz is utterly insane. Does he have the natural skills? No. Does he do more with what he has? Yup. 27 td vs 2 int season Super bowl Pretty sure he has a better record as a starter if you take out the year he played for God awful St Louis Oh yeah, and he's available. All the time. 3 injuries in 4 years is a problem. If that was Brady or Cam or someone else the media loves to crap on, it would be the talk of every show, every day. Wentz is under .500 2 of 3 years. And that is more likely to continue than the 11-2 he went last season. Being down 6 under a minute left near the red zone, that in fact is in position to win. And it wasn't wentz that did it. It wasn't the defense. They couldn't figure out that they needed to cover the 1 decent wr the saints have. They probably do win if Alshon catches an easy pass. Oh, and the team started playing better, because even they believe in Nick more. Nobody will say it, because they know he's gone and they will still be with Carson. But they looked rejuvenated as soon as Foles took the field. Honestly I don't care. They wouldn't have played the playoffs if Washington didn't lose multiple qbs. I'm just glad to see they went back to being the eagles I know. Wentz, Foles, sudfield, or Randall Cunningham. Doesn't matter. Dallas is their daddy again.

Okay now you're certifiable. Dallas had major referee help BOTH games. And that's all I'm gonna say about it. Because I'm not gonna be baited into an argument and get into trouble.

Not gonna lie, if Im Philly Im trying to get everything I can for Wentz in a trade and signing Foles. The entire team plays better under Foles. You cant deny that and you cant find excuses for that. It isnt always about a "this guy has more talent"...Some of the most talented QBs never won Super Bowls and some of the most mediocre QBs have.
Wentz has yet to show he can play a full season. Ive got Jimmy G in the same boat right now. If he get hurt again next year and missing significant time, Im starting the search for another QB to be on the safe side.
