I legitimately wonder if casual NFL fans can name anyone who plays for the Jaguars. I think they have about five players from that '17 AFC Championship game still on the roster. Apparently they actually have 12 players left from that team. |

I legitimately wonder if casual NFL fans can name anyone who plays for the Jaguars. I think they have about five players from that '17 AFC Championship game still on the roster. I think Josh Allen will be the guy who becomes more recognizable after this year. I'm still a little upset he didn't get more DROY consideration considering his stats were comparable to Bosa's and he got significantly less snaps. DJ Chark is also looking pretty good. Obviously the team is very young, and probably won't be very good but I really want Minshew to ball out and prove the doubters wrong. I'm in the camp that we would have gone .500 last year if we never switched back to Foles midseason and that Minshew would have won OROY. Yes we got rid of a lot of our higher end players, but with the exception of Calais Campbell and AJ Bouye I'm not really going to miss any of them. Ngakoue, Harrison, and (less so) Fournette had some clear problems with the FO and didn't want to be there any more and a lot of these moves seem to stem from the Ramsay move last year and based on camp reports I genuinely think the latter two were getting beat out in camp by undrafted rookies. I'm hoping for a competitive bad team with an exciting young core of rookie and second year players (Minshew, Allen, Shenault, Chaison, Henderson, etc) and for the Rams to suck. That way we can get rid of Marrone and Caldwell at the end of the year and have a ton of draft picks. Worst case scenario we end up awful and get Trevor Lawrence, which I suppose isn't the worst consolation prize. |

Sampling some of the Sunday games as well as the Chiefs/Texans game, the lack of a pre-season is going to affect the games for the first 4-5 weeks.
Teams better play extra good since being the number two seed doesn't give you a first round bye in the playoffs anymore.

I wasn't thrilled with the Raiders defense, but the offense picked them up to eek out the win. Josh Jacobs is really good. Ruggs looked good early, then turned his ankle in the second quarter and did nothing after that despite being on the field after halftime.

If he stays healthy, he'll be a top 5 maybe even RB1-3 in fantasy. |
