Patrick Mahomes is a phenomenal player who should be in contention for a good while, but the anointing of him as the next greatest ever was vastly over the top this past week. Just 7 years ago Russell Wilson was being talked about in the same way and he’s still waiting for Lombardi #2. Yea I found the commentary towards the end to be quite dumb. I understand you need to give props to the losing team and Mahomes in particular but one point Romo was mentioning that now Mahomes will need 7 more Super Bowl wins to hypothetically one day surpass Brady all time. Like I enjoy Mahomes as much as the next guy but pump the brakes, as was seen tonight both he and the Chiefs are beatable.

The teams I root for in the Super Bowl have now lost 8 of the last 9 years. 8-21 going back to the 1st Dallas vs buffalo game. That's the first one I remember watching. Packers over Pats Rams over titans Steelers over Seahawks Seahawks over broncos Giants over pats 2nd time Pats over Falcons Chiefs over 49ers Saints over colts That's it. First one I remember is Packers/Patriots. So that would make it 10-15. So, things were going well up until the Giants 2nd win against NE. Packers over Patriots Rams over Titans Patriots over Eagles Steelers over Seahawks Colts over Bears Giants over Patriots Steelers over Cardinals Packers over Steelers Giants over Patriots Broncos over Panthers

Brady has absolutely cemented himself as the greatest football player of all time. Now the argument has to move to all sports and center around greatest team sports player between Brady, Jordan, Gretzky, and a few others who dominated their sports.

The WWE had a championship belt for the Bucs ready right away since the Buccaneers, Super Bowl and WWE itself are all in Tampa. If the Jacksonville Jaguars won the Super Bowl, would HHH give them a belt? This is a serious question.

MJ easily...6 time NBA Champion, NCAA Champion, Gold Medalist as an amateur, Gold medalist as a pro, high school all american.....Jordan dominated his sport from the time he picked up the ball until the time he retired (not counting that last run)

Sorry got ahead of myself there thinking they must have already been to one that im not remembering.

When he made it to the championships at any level he ALWAYS won. He would have had eight straight NBA titles if not for his brief foray into baseball. But its also hard to argue against Brady's longevity in a sport that physically beats the hell out of players. He's won titles in his 20s, 30s, and 40s. Now with two different teams. I'm not sure, but I don't think any other player has even been in seven super bowls much less won seven. As far as pure dominance, nobody took over a team sport the way Gretzky did at the height of his career. He was putting up goal and assist numbers that were and still are unbelievable while winning championships. A case could be made for Babe Ruth too, who elevated the entire sport of baseball when he literally changed the game with his home run power. It's a fun and interesting discussion.

Fun Fact: There’s an alternate universe ruled entirely by goats. And the one goat who leads them all calls himself Tom Brady.
I love you.

A team as historically awful as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has now won two. Sky's the limit for everyone. I take great pleasure in how the entire narrative towards the game was just Brady vs. Mahomes (Kelce and Hill would get a name drop every now and again) and not a single word was spoken about defence. Really happy for Lavonte David, a guy who's been a great player for like ten years and toils away in anonymity because he played for a bad small market team.

They usually have to express mail the belt to the winner. The WWE handed one in person this time.

.....the real game is this weekend, right?
- Hats off to the Bucs and that stifling defense. - Suh finally got a ring....and can still go **** himself. - I have to change my username again, don’t I? - I feel for Mahomes, outside of pure biased. This loss will always be on his record, despite giving 150% more effort than almost anyone else on the field.
Side Note: unless it’s about CBD oil or wranglers, please stop talking Brett.

Tom Brady once again showed he is the GOAT, no questions asked. Gronk looked like the old Gronk during the game while the Bucs defense showed the blueprint on how to stop Patrick Mahomes.

Idk if I'd call it a blueprint. It's easy to say "pressure the quarterback", but it usually doesn't happen. Especially not making the guy run around the backfield for 497 yards.

It didn't really matter to me who won I just wanted to see a good game. We didn't get that but it was still fun to watch for me watching Brady be Brady and get his 7th and watching Mahomes with everything against him still look pretty impressive imo. Hats off to the Bucs D they shocked the he// out of me limiting that great offense the way they did,I thought it could get really out of hand quick like their game earlier in the year but the whole team played incredible. I knew TB12 would get the MVP but I don't know who I would've picked so many players played great, that's what you go call a complete team win.

Chiefs O line "in shambles" is on Reid. No way should you have to move 4 outta 5 linemen just because 1 goes down. You should have the depth for the next man up mentality. SF during their SB run lost both starting tackles at one point and they plugged and played, they didn't completely realign their offensive line.
Speaking of which, Watson said he's "intrigued " by the Broncos and Niners potential trades....I love Jimmy GQ but let's get Watson in red & gold!!!
