AB is the definition of a diva WR. HBO should follow him for the season. Public workout in his driveway when?

I am just glad he is gone now before the Raiders first game. I wasn’t happy when they traded for him because I don’t care how much talent he has his baggage he brings isn’t worth the aggravation. The guy is a cancer.

I mean, if the Pats can get him to calm the **** down and play drama free football, more power to them.
We’ve got enough WR drama over here.

I wonder what the Patriots reason for signing AB is? If Oakland wasn’t going to put up with his antics, no way New England does.

The patriots are on another level from all other teams. This is truly an evil empire type of move

I’m getting Brady/Moss vibes with this AB signing. Like AB, Randy Moss was coming off a strenuous tenure with the Raiders. Yes Moss played a few years with Oakland while AB managed one offseason, but both had the label of head cases when arriving in NE. Moss proved his doubters wrong and put up one of the greatest receiving seasons of all time. As long as AB understands the opportunity he has and checks himself like Moss did, I’m calling NE to take the AFC again (I had them as the favorites before this but now this move is just funny).

It would be amazing if he lasted like two days.

So, we're all in agreement that this was totally an orchestrated plan by AB to get released so he could sign with the Pats, right?

I suppose I would have issues trusting someone will act different than they have for the last two employers, regardless of how much he did or didn’t like working there. If anything, if he did think of all of this as a way to get let go from the only team that slums realistically trade for him, I’d be more concerned that he is only interested in selfish motivations and willing to give up on made commitments.
He’s a great football player for sure. And a new work environment can really affect a person. But he is still the person that willingly quit on his team, threw multiple team members under the bus for seemingly no reason, refused to show up for work, and got in an almost physical altercation with his general manager.
Even if part of that was just to get released, I’m not sure I want to hire someone willing to do all that for any reason.
We shall see.

Why does it feel like this Antonio Brown situation is just going to end up with him on the Patriots (and for a fourth round pick somehow)? Baha and not even for that.

Don’t fine him and he’ll be okay? Thru all the helmet nonsense he didn’t seem to have issues with the organization until they fined him for missed practices. Then he was seemingly on track to play despite the GM altercation until he was fined for that plus his guarantees being voided. Don’t mess with his money and he might... might, be okay, I guess.

And by last long I mean continue breathing.
