Wow, what a piece of ****. Browns been taking cheap shots all night. Just seeing it on SportsCenter. I gave up on that game too soon. Looked like Garrett wrapped Mason up after the ball was gone and took him down. Mason didn't appreciate it and started banging and grabbing on Garrett's helmet. Once Garrett got back up he started grabbing for Mason's faceguard while Rudolph was aiming his cleat for Garrett's groin. Still no call for the assault. No one seems to have seen what Rudolph did though. Smh Not saying anyone was justified though.

Well, he earned it. Good dudes can do bad things. And in the NFL it’ll make him a bad dude to most people. Pulling the helmet off Rudolph is one thing, and if it ended there you could call it even. But the reaction to swing a helmet at a helmetless person is ridiculous.
Now I’ve seen some people suggest, and Aikman even pondered it live, that Rudolph’s glove or something else was stuck on the facemask of Garrett’s helmet. No clue if that was really the case of if Rudolph was grabbing it on his own. Then of course Rudolph was grabbing and pulling at the back of Garrett’s helmet for whatever reason. So Garrett’s reaction to that.. OK you can explain it.. but then swinging the helmet is stunning. And let’s not forget #65 who came up and knocked Rudolph to the ground post-helmet shot for absolutely no reason. Bad situation all around, but good dude or not Garrett deserves what he gets out of this.

But damn people act like he’s some serial rapist ,child molester or mass murderer. Not the people on this board but people on social media.

Is it not a given that anyone on the field can beat up the quarterbacks in a fight? I just don’t understand why ever the need to fight a qb. And then after getting hit with the helmet he puts both hands up..and then gets tossed to the ground by some big bouncer dude That was weak.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Mason Rudolph went at a defensive lineman because he got tackled.
Garrett will, and should, get suspended. But Rudolph kinda had it coming. Kick me there and I'm swinging crap at you too.

If Myles Gaskin gets ejected from a game this year, we’ll have the whole set.

NFL hands Myles Garret an indefinite suspension, at least keeping him away for the remainder of Cleveland's 2019 season. Reinstatement by Goodell will be necessary for him to return.
Cleveland's Ogunjobi and Pittsburgh's Pouncey handed 1 and 3 game suspensions, respectively. NFL hints at more disciplinary actions to come.

I think he got off easily with the punishment received. I am all for settling things on the field, but what he did with the helmet is inexcusable and he deserves to be arrested as well. But even if he’s not arrested for assault he should be gone from the league without pay for at least two seasons.
I also find it funny that his thug teammate is going to appeal his punishment for his chicken s*** actions at the end of it. He should have gotten more than 1 game and a stiffer fine to begin with.

No one seems to have seen what Rudolph did though. Smh Not saying anyone was justified though. I saw what Rudolph did, and deserved more than a fine. But people get into scuffle all the time and helmets do come off in them. But Myles taking Mason's off too and beating him with it is a much more serious offense. He could have killed him. I don't condone what Mason did, or Pouncey either. Pouncey will always stick up for the QB. Always has. Batch, Ben, Dixon, Duck, Vick, Landry, and now Mason. The stomp was inexcusable, but I understand the emotion he was feeling. Just went about it the wrong way. All four deserve their suspensions and fines. But anyone who thinks Myles didn't deserve the worst punishment of the gang is clearly a Browns fan, or a Steelers hater. There's a difference between a fight and post whistle crap, and assault with a deadly weapon.

Also, has there been any update on Dionte Johnson? Dude was hit so hard he was bleeding from his ears. That's usually from an exploded eardrum or brain bleeding from my memory from my anatomy class back in the day. Local news hasn't covered him much. But the hit on him and Juju scared the crap out of me. I saw Tommy Maddox and Ryan Shazier's careers end live on TV. I was so scared when it took Juju that long to wake up and come to remotely that forget the team, human to human I was scared for him.

Thank God. I mean, when you see bleeding from the ears, you know it's most likely not good. Luckily this time, it seems, it was just a severe concussion.

Kaepernick or Garrett; who returns to the NFL first?

Kaepernick or Garrett; who returns to the NFL first? Sadly, Garrett. And that "sadly" has nothing to do with his actions against my team. Dude is a dirty player, even if provoked this time. But he'll be back next year. Kaep will likely never see the field again, which is sad. Regardless of whether you agree with the protests or not, the fact that someone practically attempted to murder a player on the field, purposely, and will be back in uniform in six months is perfectly fine. But a man who protested something he believed in, whether you agree with it or not, will never see an NFL field again. Don't care what anyone says. Protest is not a worse offense than practically attempted murder. And yet, assault and battery is something that isn't bad enough to warrant a blackball, but exercizing freedom of speech (agree or not with the method) is a borderline life sentence career ender. Really ticks me off. Similar situation with Burfict. Dude, while suspended, will be welcomed back with open arms after his umpteenth suspension for dirty shots that have ended players seasons. But heaven forbid you stand up for what you, personally, believe in, and you're considered equally as terrible a person and blackballed as Pete Rose, Giorgos Katidis, and Shoeless Joe. Terrible.

No matter what happens people just love to hate on Lamar Jackson.
Stays out of trouble and doesn’t run his mouth but the hate keeps on coming.
