I don't mind Goldberg in the DM line if it's his first time fig because well it's the first one ever and it's iconic. I don't however like having a surfer sting with a plastic jacket and incorrect size proportions especially after we JUST had a sting before that. I actually hate having more than one of the same person in the DM line considering all the posibilities we're missing out on. Aside NWO Hogan or a red and black NWO Macho Man I don't want to see any more doubles in the DM line. That's the biggest killer imo.

Hell, it could be a WCW DM with everything or nothing. I'm still gonna wait till it drops to 15 or 20 bucks on Amazon before I buy it anyway.

Here's to hoping the headscan won't be an open-mouthed screaming pose.

You know MDT a while back said something like "just the game for now" when we were all getting excited for a figure... does Goldberg being on TV/having a match in WWE actually guarantee that Mattel will (or can) make figures of him? No. Bill said he couldn't do Tommy Dreamer when he returned.

So 6 months from when goldberg appears on tv we can a basic figure, 9-12 months for an elite.
Thats if mattel has him signed to a deal, i am not going to get excited about anything until then.

I don't get the demand to put him in the DM line when U.W has more detail yet isn't DM worthy.. Lol well Mattel, here's a chance to get an easy profit!

We all know at this point any major personality who hasn't been in the line yet is going to be getting the DM treatment because Matty knows we're all going to pay the extra 5 bucks. So Angle, Steiner, Hollywood, whenever their time comes it is a guaranteed DM if the line lasts.

Well if you consider the original purpose of the defining moment line, an elite Bill Goldberg with the WCW World title and WCW US Title would fit the bill. That was his career defining moment beating Hogan on Nitro. Sure some might argue it doesn't have enough accessories or isn't flashy enough, but it is THE defining moment of his career and if Goldberg was in teh DM set, that would be the moment it would be based on.

It would be a ring attire Goldberg with that leather jacket and pants. It was a pretty cool look where he speared the Rock. They'd throw in a world title too. I'd buy it.

If Goldberg is coming back for a big match, I'd have to think they'd come up with some sort of merchandise deal. They'd make a killing on toys and shirts, and it would benefit both parties.
If so, I wish Mattel would just cut a deal to do the WCW US title once (along with the standard big gold). That would justify the DM price for a guy who's only major deco is chest hair and a small monotone shoulder tat.

I could see Goldberg as a DM with the WCW title and maybe some spark effects if they want to splurge some, since Goldberg is rather simple attire wise and if they wanted to make him unique and worth the price of a DM

Will he change his look though? And if they make a figure will it be his current appearance or his old look? The fact that you think Bill Goldberg has an ounce of creativity in his body and would be able to "change his look" is why WWE brought him back for another guarenteed trainwreck of a match with someone who so obviously deserves so much better. For one of Brock Lesnar's big matches to be at Survivor Series and now for it to be wasted with Bill Goldberg... Ugh... It'd be like Undertaker putting his streak up against a ham sandwich. I just... I can't even. I'd only buy a Goldberg figure if my son wants one because, hey, Sami Zayn needs a win. Creativity or not the man has aged. He will look different than he did more than 10 years ago.
