You know MDT a while back said something like "just the game for now" when we were all getting excited for a figure... does Goldberg being on TV/having a match in WWE actually guarantee that Mattel will (or can) make figures of him? No. Bill said he couldn't do Tommy Dreamer when he returned. He was working a per date loose deal for a few weeks Comparing that to the return of one of the biggest wrestling stars of the last 20 years is a little absurd

And I really hope we get one, I thought that would be a similar situation.

Yeah but in the old days we would would've gotten some extra cloth goodies to make up for the plain attire Second best option would probably be his WWE debut. It would be a ring attire Goldberg with that leather jacket and pants. It was a pretty cool look where he speared the Rock. They'd throw in a world title too. I'd buy it. I wouldn't hesitate to drop $25+ for that. Though it seems like the days of Mattel going all out is over. As for his DM, wouldn't we want to pay cheaper for a Goldberg? I understand but Mattel doesn't even have the rights to the wcw belts.

I imagine people are crying about his "bland attire and workrate" but forget all that.. this man went toe to toe with Austin and The Rock at their PRIME. He was red hot, and the biggest wrestling star that Mattel haven't made.
Would be welcomed.

The DM def needs 2 belts and we will need a elite from this Lesnar match as well. Hopefully Goldberg is the 2nd DM next year with Mania 3 Savage with robe and headband being the 3rd DM

I was thinking about this the other day. When we finally get our Goldberg for the love of God MattelDesignTeam please give him chest hair. Other than maybe hbk I feel like this is the guy who needs it. And yes in my spare time I think about chest hair on action figures lol.

I'm not a huge Lesnar or Goldberg fan but I am super hyped.

Instead of the 40th Warrior or the 30th Macho, I think a Goldberg would be welcome to the DM line. Beating Hogan for the title is the definition of a Defining Moment.

I am pretty sure we will get at least an elite figure, plus I expect him to be inducted in HOF this year as part of the deal to come back to WWE

That's true, nobody can question that not being a Defining Moment. Hopfully we can get something more than just a belt when it comes to accessories.

Goldberg was one not to be afraid of showing that.

DM Goldberg. only thing left to save the line. I haven't bought a Dm since Austin and I'm not buying the new coming flair Dm. But there's a rumored savage Dm after that and I would be all over that one. I'd buy a Dm Goldberg but I think he would be better in the regular elite line. May not shock me if there is going to be ANOTHER Macho Man DM. Since the DM line has been back the only new people in it have been Flair, Hogan, Razor, and Sting.
