Is it weird that when a brand new box is made few series after its altered til a whole brand new one?? Example the long blue ones than a short version of it No because the figures in the first blue box are from 2014, and the figures in the second blue box are from 2015

The new ones the best if it didn't have the pointless cut of corner but the 32-38 takes it for me

2010 - The best. 2011 - Worse than 2010. 2012 - Worse than 2011. 2013 - Worse than 2012. 2014 - The absolute worst. 2015 - Better than 2014 / worse than 2010. 2016 - Better than 2015 / worse than 2010. And to add to that, 2017 is the same as 2016 since there wasn't a drastic change for me.

Oh, I see. It's more of a difference in box deco, than it is a box change.

Gotta admit, the original '10 boxes are probably still my favourites... it would have been cool if they could have stuck with that. I do really like the newer (E39 onwards) packaging too though.
Least favourite has to be the blue boxes - especially the first ones... ugh.

Those 2012 boxes were gigantic and the smaller 2013 boxes are still huge

The current 39-45 are my fave by far... if you count the legends as elites then that was actually my favorite. I was never a fan of the blue packaging just something about it looked cheap or missing something to me!

The good thing about the big boxes is that Mattel could insert big accessories, like the tall ladder and ring stairs (I didn't like the ring stairs). Now I don't think they can fit in these new designs.

All these packages suck and make it too easy for people to do switcheroos. Mattel should learn how to design packages from Jakks.

speak for yourself. i open it and throw it away , a box is not important to me whatsoever. I agree with that. I do miss them putting attire dates on the boxes though

Or was that the top?
