i won an item back on Oct 20 something i want to say the 31st or 25th. Paid and seller said it shipped i should get it by november 3rd. i was away this past weekend and my parents got the mail. Never got here. I emailed her Monday and heard nothing. asked where the package ws and can i have a tracking number. Got nothing. Sent another one yesterday and opened a claim. She refunded my money and i left her a negative feedback. I said didn't get item but finally got refund. She messages me back saying she messaged me back saying it was shipping but she couldn't find the tracking number and she gave me a refund. She said she wanted me to change the feedback. i looked her thing back and she had one case just like mine. Never got a tracking number don't believe item was sent. Should i change my feed back or basically tell her to screw off and leave it? i try not to be an A hole but

Leave it the way it is. So that way the person learns.

I always give appropriate feedback. I don't know why it's an issue for you, or something you are considering doing. I really can't believe she asked you to change it. Most of the time, Sellers respond to the feedback and that's it. Usually, buyers never come back to provide a follow-up. As a seller, 100% positive feedback is unrealistic. Buyers, that can, will do whatever they think they can knowing some Sellers live by their feedback. Most Seller, with 100%, have a feedback clause stated in their auctions. If a buyer provides negative feedback within contacting the buyer, them it can be removed with ease.

Leave it. You had a negative transaction and posted as such. She cannot buy her way out of negative feedback, nor should you let her.
Besides, if she's done it to two people, that's the start of a pattern.

You got your money back so what is the problem? People who leave negative feedback, despite getting their items or money are horrible.

Leave it, first thing I do after I ship an item is post the tracking number. If she can't do that then she either never sent the item or lost the receipt which almost should never happen.

That's pretty much the very definition of negative. Oooooh wait...that's right. You have to keep up your "that guy" gimmick. Gotcha.

I run a premium ebay store, i always ship through paypal and it updates the tracking automatically.
You should leave good or nuetral feedback since you got your money back, but leave something like "had problems but was refunded"
leaving bad feedback while getting your money back is just being a dick

He disliked the service, that's the issue here. He wasnt robbed.

Definitely don't revise your feedback. Buyers need to see the crappy sellers

I have always used the neutral if the seller made an error and corrected it with repayment so that no transaction took place.
If it process forced me to file a complaint and Ebay/Paypal had to pay the claim due to the seller's refusal to make it right, or the seller did not respond to the complaint after it is filed or not answering emails before the allotted time, then the seller deserves the negative since the evidence points to a scam being attempted.
If the seller does respond, but a solution cannot be reached, then you have to abide by the Ebay/Paypal decision. No negative should be left if the result of the decision from them is not to your liking. A third party has mediated it and if you lost, you lost. In that situation, I would not leave feedback at all.

I will be leaving my feedback. Someone else has alspbleft hr a negative in the past week for selling something as an original and it was a reproduction. If she would have messaged me back one of the 3 times before the claim was started I would have gave a neautral. The fact she right away gave me a refund and "couldn't find" the tracking leads me to believe it was never sent. How many items really get lost in the mail?

And people wonder why scammers are allowed to scam for so long before they finally get caught. It's because people either follow the logic espoused above by Halloween King...or they allow their feedback to be bought.

Ebay of today is insanely lopsided in favor of buyers. For example, years ago if you left me a negative for that reason I could reply to your feedback with facts that you got your money and or toy. Now though you can leave a negative with no reply from the seller. So other potential buyers see negative and think that buyer was ripped off. When in reality he just wasnt happy with how the transaction went. I think experience is the difference between myself and many of you. Many of you probably only use ebay to buy things. People like me use it to buy and sell. So I know how both ends of ebay work.

I've also even went beyond and sent someone an extra figure bc it was for a kid. its not that hard to make it a positive experience
