I think he is not going to last long. If smackdown gets the cruiserweight division then maybe, but I give him till march and his star will fall.

Everyone deserves a chance to fulfill their dreams, but he doesn't even look like he's seen the inside of a gym.
Lifting some weights perhaps?? Nope! It just bothers me at times when I see real wrestlers in the indys who LOOK THE PART and they are not signed with the WWE or even ROH or TNA for that matter.
James better enjoy this 15 minutes of fame. Because eventually its done and nobody is gonna care anymore.

Oh, joy, another wrestler that pisses me off when he's on tv.

-- Am happy for the guy!
Now, he IS a novelty, and with any novelty, the trick is to make it last as long as possible. And by doing that, you can't over-use him. Once he finishes up this angle with AJ/Dean, he needs to be off of TV until Royal Rumble (entrant; crowd pops YUGE once his theme hits, because he's "been away" for a short while). Then wait another 2-3wks before he appears for new angle, then you can feature him regularly until that story is finished. THEN, turn him loose at Axxess lol. I think it would be great to just see him wondering around, as for of an added treat to folks who are there, like goes up and talks to people while they're waiting in line haha.
After the WM hype settles down, play it by ear at that point.

Guy is super humble and I'm happy for him and all... but this is the biggest waste of a payday I've ever seen.

He's stale. How so much attention has been focused on him in a feud involving Dean Ambrose and AJ ing Styles is beyond me.

Im sure he's a nice guy, but I have no desire to see him on TV anymore. What in the world will they do with him? Better yet how can anyone take him as a legit threat? Is he Colin Delaney 2.0?
I don't see this working out well.

Excellent news! WWE needs more guys that don't just fit into the cookie cutter indie workrate mold. There's nobody else on the roster like him, and I'm glad he'll be sticking around. I can't see his big run lasting, but man, his family are gonna have such an amazing Christmas this year. This is fantastic to see.

I don't see this working out well. He's pretty much the Colin Delaney to Dean Ambrose's Tommy Dreamer. Good for him though. Ellsworth took advantage of the opportunities he was given and turned it into a dream come true even if he shouldnt be anything more than a comedy jobber.

Ive heard he's a super nice guy, so im happy for him. However, hes not worth a signing. Hes great as a every once and a while character. Similar to Blue Pants/Leva Bates on NXT. She showed up every now and then, and it worked. Ill judge more than i did when we find out what happens

Feed him to Brock Lesnar. Don't think about it, just do it. We all want it. Like this. Do this.
