I wanted to start making customs, so I tested some Citadel paint on a old marvel legends action figure and I noticed it chipped really easy. I watched a custom video and realized I need a sealer. I have some mod podge but I heard that it is pretty hard to use. From what I heard it clumps really easy and you need to thin it out. Then I saw a Citadel sealer. Does anyone use this sealer? ( I know there are many types ). Also, if you don't than what sealer do you use and is it affective?

I use matte finish sealer by Krylon and Testor's Dullcote. The matte will give your figure a finish more in line with what a factory made figure looks like. You can get a can of the Krylon stuff at any Wal-Mart for under $5. I can't say if its better/worse/the same as Citadel brand, but it serves its purpose.
However, as I'm sure you already know, no sealer will protect that paint if it's on an area of the figure that will see excessive movement (knees, elbows, wrists, etc). You have to take extra steps to have any chance of preventing paint rub.
