I work in the backroom at Target currently and it's been a barren wasteland back there for a few months; CAS Sheamuses (Sheami?) and Zombies. As I was pulling stock to go onto the floor today I spotted some new Elites in the backroom's toy aisles that weren't there last night. I went to the floor to confirm and YES! Elites at last! We finally got a fresh case of... HOF 2. WTF?!?!?!

Wow. Retail sucks, I am still stuck on elite 39 (minus Fye Elite43). I am glad I could order online, then waiting for retail hell

I've come to terms with the fact that wrestling figures being available in retail stores is over. Thanks Tito, Sid, Bray, Bo, Bryan, Mizdow, Harper, Diego, & Fernando. I think RSC & Amazon are single handily carrying the elite line through to the next series

I went to Target this morning and they had a new shipment of the Heenan Family. It scanned at full price and they wouldn't price match their own website($28.49), so I didn't get it. The website won't let me order and pick it up either.

I think RSC & Amazon are single handily carrying the elite line through to the next series I've never seen a wave be on clearance in may then be restocked and still be there NOW in november - like e39...BUT I think the real blame may lie on the shoulders of D Bryan. I told people he did nothing for the company and the YES chant itself was more over than he was (in today's me first & reality tv overloaded world). This mofo has sat on shelves just as as long as cm punk did (before the pipe bomb incident) back in the day... This vanilla midget is still rotting on shelves... Had e 39 come out at x-mas like it was supposed to we'd have had no problem... They should have kept him on the roster for a few months to make sure his merch still sold and THEN announced his retirement. I don't want to come to terms just yet lol  I'm keeping hope I'll ONE DAY see new elites on my shelves that AREN'T Roman Reigns...even Bo Dallas who there were way more than I thought would ever sell has all sold out. There's still some Bray's too...Sid is everywhere. We never had Tito or Harper and Los Mats...Mizdow is everywhere, Bulldog, Godfather... My tru is filled with exclusive rollins and cenas...dm sting and Austin are everywhere. I'm REALLY surprised Razor sold out. He was there forever. Now we got zombies sittin around... My tru and Wallyworld got the basic set with emma and new hair shaemus...just one case each but the tru sold out that week and walmart's not far behind. NEW STUFF WILL SELL...e39 has made everyone look bad. The customers (like were not out there), the brand (wwe elite/mattel, looks their stuff won't sell)...and even the wrestlers... no goodfather now. Kama? Maybe... Bulldog? Good luck us getting the bulldogs now. Sid? Y'all better buy that basic and do a swap cuz there's no good guy sid comin anytime soon lol Mattel needs to memo all stores and tell them to mark e39 at 5$. Then we can all go and do each other a solid and buy 10-20$ worth of crap and every city can hold huge bonfires and celebrate the new year...e39 free! Now can I get an amen, brothers and sisters!? |
