So, I got my Black Friday shipment in from RSC yesterday and made a few minor tweaks. 1. I am kinda shocked how much I like the Sid w/ headswap. I'd rather have him in the blue tights just for more contrast w/ Sycho Sid, but since this is his WM8 attire, it works beautifully. 2. My second Sycho Sid's vest went on Kevin Nash. What do you think?  |

It looks good! Definitely a better all-round Sid figure than the original. I'm still baffled by how much Mattel has struggled with hair colours in this line at times.

I know, it's benn quite an awful year for blondes this year lol I'm still not happy with my repaints but I like em better than the originals (the flash in my other pic lightened everything up - but still). RSC hbk is another one...mr perfect's hair is off. Nash. Hacksaw... many in the past. I thought blondes had more fun? |

TBH, Sid's hair is kinda red or dirty blonde at most. It's not platinum blonde like Flair. I think the problem is that Mattel paints hair in solid colors when guys like Sid and DDP have red and blonde in their hair. They try to get as close as they can and nothing is going to look perfect, but platinum blonde is not accurate either.   |

My hands shake so I have hard time but I manage. Get some white paint and light blue and wal mart and some brushes. Paint him white a couple times for a good base and then 2 coats of blue should be good. |

Looks great but I've never tried painting them and don't trust myself. Could use the American made hogan trunks. was going to go that route but apparantly hogan has more junk in the trunk then sid, as the trunks r larger, so it wouldnt look right. also a slightly darker blue. then tried acrylic paint and that was a massive failure(was like painting with elmers glue) so will be doing the simple head swap like the ops. |

Sid is the only basic I've ever bought I just ordered a basic Sid for a head swap which is the first Basic that I ever bought as well Typically I'm not one or for custom figures I will settle for a simple head swap until Mattel hopefully produces us a elite WCW version of him |

I've never been clear on this. The vest look is depicting a late '90s Sid? Yeah, from '95 to 2001, Sid wore black vest and short black tights almost exclusively, except for the times he wore jeans in ECW. Before '95, he had a lot more variations in his ring attires. I don't think Sid Justice wore the vest at all, plus wore several different colors of tights. Sid Vicious pre-WWF wore the vest, sometimes singlets, sometimes leather chaps. |
