Five Lessons to be learned from the early failure of the Cru

I've said this elsewhere, but it boils down to two things for me:

1: The champion needs to be strong. Bouncing the belt around makes it mean nothing. The winner of the tournament (and I definitely wouldn't have chosen TJ Perkins) should still be champion, and continuing to best each challenger. He should have been a heel with personality who can actually generate heat. For that reason it should've been Kendrick, and as I said before he should still be champion.

2: Everyone is bland and boring besides Kendrick (although I really liked what I saw from Neville this past Monday even if he was channeling Drew Galloway). Rich Swann looks like a homeless guy living under a bridge dancing for spare change. TJ Perkins has awesome music, but no personality. Tony Nese, Noam Dar....zzzzzzzz. They also don't really have any big stars aside from Neville and arguably Kendrick. If they'd gotten Ospreay and Zack Sabre Jr. we might not even be having this conversation (although I'd still have given it to Kendrick and had them chase him for it for awhile).

That's my opinion, and that's pretty much what is keeping me away. I have high hopes for Neville though. The way they bounce that belt around he'll be the next champion by the first of the year. The next champion needs to be booked strongly, and should hold it until Wrestlemania if they have any hope of getting this thing off of the ground.
