I saw some and I have seriously considered picking a couple up..... I would have to find a way to plump up the 1:12 body though. Since you have a Joker, can you tell me if it would be possible to find ways get some materials in the body to make him a bit fatter? I’ve been wondering about that myself. The clothing is tailored pretty well to his slim body, so adding anything underneath might sacrifice movement and fit. I considered a custom cloth purple trench coat, since soft goods on figures this size sometimes look bulky. It may appear to add some size to his physique, but I never got around to it yet. |

Yeah $150 before shipping would probably stop me from ordering it. I thought the $132 shipped from Mezco was a bit steep for it and my attitude when I was ordering it was if I get through the process and I get it fine, but if I got stuck in the checkout loop and it sold out in that time I wasn’t going to be upset if it wasn’t in my collection.

Ehhh... When I get the figure and if his body feels solid like it will hold up, I will buy another for $150 if he is still there. I just hope they do a Returns figure that matches with an unmasked headsculpt. Then give me a Nicholson Joker and I'm set.... probably never buy another figure except for F13 to complete my NECA set.

Has Nicholson softened on using his image? I know when Kenner has the license he wanted more money to use his likeness than they were willing to pay. But I think he has had a Hot Toys figure so they must have met his price. So maybe Mezco will meet his price also?

BUT, Hot Toys are super expensive and could easily recover the cost on a per figure basis. Mezco, being lower priced that Hot Toys, I would think would have to either do a larger run of the figures or make them exclusive and then price themselves out. NECA never did Nicholson because at $20-$25 per figure, they would go in the hole. Even selling a huge number wouldn't save them. I feel like Mezco is right in the middle and could swing it but the real question is, would they do it knowing full well they wouldn't make as much money as they would doing something else......

That is absolutely nuts..... they must have really paid out the butt for the rights. I can't imagine any way that, even though they released 2 different figures, they still couldn't make up the cost. I don't know what the original price of the Nicholson figures was but it seems like I recall the mime version being available for quite some time. (could be wrong on that)
Like you, I'm kind of wary of anything Randy says. I mean at times it seems like his info is really generous and truthful but other times its like he says stuff just to make surprises more surprisy or to save face for NECA not doing or doing something.

They are usually $5-$10 more than ordering directly through Mezco. But it seems they now added a $9.95 non refundable preorder charge in case you cancel you order. That will be taken off the final price when it come in stock. But it takes them about 2 weeks to receive their orders from Mezco then another week before I receive it from them. Usually I go through Mezco there’s a $20 non refundable charge there but that’s also factored into the final price and you get the figure the day after they ship it. Now that Big Bad added a non refundable preorder fee I will only use them if it sells out on Mezco’s site before I can order it. Main reason is because ordering directly from Mezco will get it to me faster and cheaper. |

Does anyone have recommendations for (hopefully cheap) figures that scale well with these for photography (e.g., if I wanted to do a horror shot with Myers)? WWE Figures, Diamond Select, and NECA are all out of scale (IMO).

One of the big advantages to me, in terms of little good or Mez directly is that ordering straight from Mez, you get "points" from Mezco and those translate to discounts on other purchases. Buying one figure, if I remember correctly lets you save $5 bucks on the next one but you can save them up and use them all at once. I had no desire to get one of the Captain America figures they put out early on BUT when I did, I think they had an error because I got double points on that purchase. The best part was between what I bought before and after added with those, I paid only like $25 for Netflix Punisher. |

Does anyone have the new Cable that came out? The exclusive version with the blue/yellow costume? I had it in my Big Bad cart for months and months as a pre-order before removing it, due to all the delays. I see people with the figure in-hand now, figured I'd ask what anyone thinks of it.
