Footage of Roman Reigns laughing at Kevin Owens while stuck in a headlock went viral this week, as Owens talked about his merchandise checks he receives. Reigns took to Twitter and bragged about how much money he made while in The Shield compared to Owen’s merchandise check.
This didn’t go over too well with John Cena, as he made the follow remarks in response:

I know many will be grabbing their pitchforks and torches, but I'd like to see Cena vs Reigns. Especially if Reigns becomes a mega heel.

reigns made it from bad to worse with that tweet - bragging about how much you make more than another guy? heel tactics 101. i feel like roman would benefit from listening through this, especially what cornette says at 12:00

Reminds me of Dean Ambrose smiling while Jake Roberts drapes a snake on him.
Kevin Owens likes to talk during matches and I usually enjoy it but in this case he went on for a bit too long and Reigns cracking up while stuck in the headlock takes away from the "realness" of the match.

He feels threatened. Sad. How do you figure that? They're all just  ing around, but Roman will NEVER have the work ethic that Cena does, and that may have been a subtle jab in that direction. I'm more sad that Roman can't think more quickly on his feet than anything else. I mean really? Making fun of KO's merch check was the best comeback he could think of? It's not like it was a face to face conversation...it's the internet. He had all the time in the world to think of something clever...and THAT was what he came up with. |

Haha! "And then like, eleven or twelve for the loop." Love it when they crack each other up. I always enjoy the stories of Owen Hart doing his best to make the other guys in the ring laugh on house shows, but sadly those were before the cameraphone days.

Say what you will, but at least Cena earned his spot as the guy. Starting at the bottom of the cards, paying his dues, and working his ass off still to this day and always comes off as very humble in any interview.

I will say that Reigns has what it takes to be one of the greatest heels of the modern era.
Imagine him cutting a heel promo and the crowd booing the roof of the arena as he laughs his ass off. Please do it WWE.

Owen and the Bulldog did that stuff all the time, it was fun. House shows are supposed to be fun. That KO/Roman clip is just that, fun. IF, and I repeat IF, Cena is serious..he can go F himself. Cena doesn't even run his own Twitter most of the time, so who knows who's idea his Tweet was. If this is a start to a feud and a match at Mania, I'm all for it. Better Cena vs Reigns, than Cena vs Taker IMO. |
