I know many will be grabbing their pitchforks and torches, but I'd like to see Cena vs Reigns. Especially if Reigns becomes a mega heel. I agree that Reigns should be a heel but this could be the one situation where I could logically see WWE turning Cena. They could run an angle of Cena being jealous of Reigns' being the new anointed one and him feeling like he's just been cast aside after over a decade of sacrificing his body, etc. There's your WM main event. After moving Cena back to Raw, of course. We get the Cena heel turn that would make sense (and wouldn't be anti-climactic) and we get to see whether or not Reigns can be a top babyface. He gets a decent face run, Cena puts over the next main eventer, he probably goes back to Smackdown, then later on Roman can be turned heel.

Comparing Finn to Roman is stupid. if Roman didn't get popped he would have beat Seth at money in the bank. He would have won the Sheild triple threat match and . and would be the one wrestling and going over brock at Summer Slam.

Cena worked himself into a shoot. Haha yes. I love that. I'd be straight down with Cena-Roman at Mania. Make that the big match that goes on about mid-show. Probably the best crowd atmosphere in awhile

This isn't Reigns in character, this is actually who Roman Reigns is as a person.. This is why I do not like him and do not think he is THE guy to move forward with in the future.
The dude has a real bad attitude towards certain things and he wears it proudly on his sleeve..
Roman outside the ring seems like a GIGANTIC tool.

Joking or not, it's an immensely tone deaf and stupid comment for Reigns to make, and further evidence as to why he has absolutely business being a top babyface. Cena is absolutely right to take a shot.

Because you need strong evidence to justify that comment. Roman Reigns is a fictional character who is played by Joseph Onoa'i and stars in an athletic soap opera. Disliking a character is fine but hating the person who plays him because you don't like the character is silly. The WWE to Vince is like a figure fed to us, the wrestlers are his toys and they have no control over what roles he wants them to play so if Vince wants Roman to be a top star blame Vince and not somebody is only doing their Job. Finally what happened On Twitter was harmless banter between two friends and Cena who is out of touch with the entire roster took it the wrong way. I hear banter in my workplace everyday and it is much worse and offensive than what Roman typed on twitter but when it's time to go home everyone leaves friendly and not offended. Ps if you do know Roman personally then I apologize.

Ps if you do know Roman personally then I apologize. If this is simply Roman Reigns playing Roman Reigns the character, how is it beneficial to anyone? Roman is supposed to be the company's biggest babyface, except here, he's bragging about his giant merch checks and stooping to the level of the heel who made a comment while in character during a performance. It's completely counter-intuitive to the message he's supposed to be sending and it undermines his character. Sure, we don't know if Reigns is a douchebag in real life or not, but he certainly comes off like one, almost all the time. There are nearly countless examples of him saying stupid things, both on social media and in interviews. His behavior outside the ring and his general demeanor have been two of the biggest catalysts for the hardcore audience completely disowning him. This is just another asinine comment unbecoming of a top babyface, and that's probably what Cena is making reference to. Cena knows that this guy is being groomed to take his spot, and quite frankly, if I were him, I'd be mighty disappointed with the way he handles himself on social media and in interviews. If this is Roman Reigns just "doing his job", then he's doing his job entirely wrong. Whether Owens and Reigns are friends and this was all a joke is a moot point. It doesn't matter. Reigns shouldn't be saying this garbage, period. If he feels that strongly like he needs to make this quip, he should joke with Owens about it backstage. He looks like a gigantic tool for bragging about how much money he makes - especially when you consider the fact that he's the top promoted babyface in the company and Owens is a heel. If he wasn't making significantly more off of merch, there'd be a serious problem.

If he wasn't making significantly more off of merch, there'd be a serious problem. I get all that but social media and interviews should be taken with a pinch of salt. Roman's co workers have nothing but good comments about him and I've never heard of a bad fan experience with him either so if he seriously was a tool then he would have a bad rep backstage and treat fans like dirt. KO the heel was bragging mid match about his royalty cheques and then Roman responds of twitter so it was basically a face trying to own a heel on social media. Maybe it could've been worded better though. As for being a tool well lets look at Cena. He may be the workhorse who grants kids wishes but what about the backstage bully who intimidated the locker room and ruined superstars?

As with most Roman threads, I have to lock this. Too much fighting.
