Reality is, if Styles had been laughing and made the same twitter comment, nobody would give two s**ts. And remember the KO child incident? If it would've been Reigns the haters would've tore him apart but when it comes to the internet darlings they can do no wrong. The Reigns hate is completely undeserving and was originally triggered by a myth that he was being groomed by Vince to be the next guy. It's just hypocritical. |

Don't forget this is the same Cena that told Ambrose that he had no balls a few months ago so the guy just talks trash a lot of the time.
House shows are fun and nothing on them is meant to be taken serious so if Cena can't get over sill banter between Reigns and Owens then he seriously needs to grow up.
He's a big time TV host, part time wrestler now so he should grant wishes, collect pay cheques and keep his nose out of other peoples business.

But I could've sworn that he won the Royal Rumble, then main evented back-to-back WMs; all while being the focal point of practically every show he was on. |

Give Reigns Twitter a browse. It's literally embarrassing. He tweets like a 13 year old would.. I agree, what's this 'Ah Yessir' he always tweets too? Ive never ever heard him say it in my life lol. Was it ever officially announced that Reigns was going to be the next face of the company? It was nothing more than fan speculation. People saw what they wanted to see. Lol it doesn't need to be officially announced when in the last 3 years the guy managed to: - Eliminate 4/5 opposing members at Survivor Series 2013 - Broke the most eliminations record at Royal Rumble 2014 after 13 years with 12 - Won Royal Rumble 2015 - Won the WWE title 3 times in 6 months (Survivor Series 2015-WrestleMania 32) - Challenging for the Universal title AGAIN at Royal Rumble 2017 We all saw his push coming from a while away and the things he's accomplished in such short amount of time no doubt show he was groomed to be the next face of WWE but because of fan backlash he hasn't quite succeeded as that. |

He feels threatened. Sad. How do you figure that? They're all just  ing around, but Roman will NEVER have the work ethic that Cena does, and that may have been a subtle jab in that direction. I'm more sad that Roman can't think more quickly on his feet than anything else. I mean really? Making fun of KO's merch check was the best comeback he could think of? It's not like it was a face to face conversation...it's the internet. He had all the time in the world to think of something clever...and THAT was what he came up with. He used that comeback, to rile people like you up, for the exact reason youre riled up for. Actually pretty clever. If his tweet irked you, then you completely fell for it. Its hilarious. What many people fail to realize about Roman Reigns is his ascension was not organic. John Cena's ascension was organic. That explains why Reigns has received so much backlash from a large number of fans. Reigns would dream of being a household name like John Cena has become.
The days of the WWE building household names are a thing of the past. Cena and Batista were the last two guys to achieve such honor.

Cena is likely kayfabing. It seems like what happens is Owen was doing his thing and Reigns just couldn't hold in the laughter because Owens is funny as hell. Then after the clip went viral, Roman tweeted to cover himself and make it seem like he wasn't breaking character. Then Cena used it as a chance to show off some of that edge he had on Smackdown.
Either way, Roman's tweet shows just how much WWE is booking him wrong. Think about how great his character would be if he was like an entitled tool bag that just was a badass and reminded everyone of it.

There are just people who have decided to hate Roman Reigns because the Internet says so, yet the same things they bash him for are things they praise/accept others for. There's 2 major differences between Reigns and Balor; 1. Balor was well liked by the fans and came to the main roster with a lot of momentum from his run in NXT and fans were dying for him to be called up. 2. Nobody expected Balor actually becoming the first Universal champion coming and Balor vs. Rollins was considered a somewhat dream match to some. At least with Reigns the seeds were planted almost a year prior and we watched the least talented member of the Shield win the 2015 Royal Rumble and headline WrestleMania 31, thankfully Rollins saved the main event lol. I don't hate Reigns but I do think he could be used in better roles, maybe give him 1997 The Rock treatment and turn him heel so the fans can get the boos out their system and then eventually he'll be well received by all perhaps and become a huge face 🤔 |

Balor was well liked by the fans Yes, you're confirming my point: People bash Roman Reigns pretending it's for reason X, Y or Z -- but really it's just because they don't like Roman Reigns, and the X, Y and Z that these kids complain about are fine if it's an Internet-approved wrestler doing them rather than Roman Reigns or John Cena. Nobody in their right mind thought Demon Balor was losing his first PPV. Would've killed the gimmick dead. So everyone of sound mind knew he was winning the second that match was booked. |
