Seems like those that hate Reigns, are just using this to repeat their daily hate posts. We get it. Reality is, if Styles had been laughing and made the same twitter comment, nobody would give two s**ts. Would Styles lower himself to that predicament though mate? He's too much of a professional to do something like this...but I reckon you knew that already.  |

Give Reigns Twitter a browse. It's literally embarrassing. He tweets like a 13 year old would.. I agree, what's this 'Ah Yessir' he always tweets too? Ive never ever heard him say it in my life lol. Was it ever officially announced that Reigns was going to be the next face of the company? It was nothing more than fan speculation. People saw what they wanted to see. Lol it doesn't need to be officially announced when in the last 3 years the guy managed to: - Eliminate 4/5 opposing members at Survivor Series 2013 - Broke the most eliminations record at Royal Rumble 2014 after 13 years with 12 - Won Royal Rumble 2015 - Won the WWE title 3 times in 6 months (Survivor Series 2015-WrestleMania 32) - Challenging for the Universal title AGAIN at Royal Rumble 2017 We all saw his push coming from a while away and the things he's accomplished in such short amount of time no doubt show he was groomed to be the next face of WWE but because of fan backlash he hasn't quite succeeded as that. He uses an unhealthy amount of exclamation points too!!!!!! |

wrestlers just should not be allowed on Twitter IMO wrestlers shouldn't be start feuds on there. The amount of times Ive watched RAW and a match has happened due to a twitter exchange is ridiculous. Sure it worked for The Rock/John Cena leading to WrestleMania 28 but it happens way too often now for just a filler match on the weekly shows. Just seems like lazy booking. |

When we hear stories of Owen Hart ribbing the crowd at house shows its "great" and something we lack now.
It happens today and it's unprofessional.

I don't hate Roman but y'alls defense is weak here. "These heels did something and that was okay but Roman would have been ripped for the same thing!". Yeah because both of those guys are heels and it's kinda their job to be a professional dick to people. Roman is a top baby face who - uh - shouldn't be a dick to people. Okay then, swap out Styles and put in another face. I'm not even defending Roman. But my point is, it's not really a big issue. And this certainly wouldn't be "news" if it was anyone else. I gotcha brother.

This is AJ's first year and he has made a bigger imact than Roman ever has and people are loving him for it and Rollins got a huge in your face push when the Shield split and was the first member to win the world title. Roman is The Rock's cousin, so what? does that mean he should never have a main event run with the company? You have guys from the past aswell like Angle, Lesnar, Batista etc. Their pushes were bigger than Reign's and no one had issues with them either. The fact of the matter is that the internet is a huge issue with todays wrestling. Had Roman debut 10 or 20 years ago he would've been huge and got thunderous reactions. I've said this before but their is a lot of prejudice towards non indy guys in WWE. I've seen indy wrestlers on youtube and people are commenting and saying that they should be WWE World champion. Now I like a lot of indy guys but you can't look at someone and predict that they would be a good WWE champion without even seeing them perform in the company first. |

AJ Styles is arguably the best wrestler in the world today. Roman Reigns is not. Furthermore, he has not been booked NEARLY as strongly as Reigns. AJ has lost clean plenty of times, including his WM debut.
Finn Balor debuted as a highly-touted NXT prospect, who was pushed for a month before being injured. Reigns spent two years as the muscle of The Shield, then suddenly has Paul Heyman literally saying he was better than every wrestler in history. Yes, Balor won the Universal Title in his PPV debut, but there's no telling how long he would've held the belt, or how he would've been booked during that time. We know how Reigns has been booked for the past three years.
Also, to say "it's the internet's fault, he would've been cheered twenty years ago!" is a terrible excuse. Wrestling evolves, and the fans evolve with it. And it's far from smarks just booing him - regular crowds are, too. He's not over, and it's WWE's fault for booking him terribly, not the fans' for not liking what they've been force fed.

I just don't think it's fair to use Balor as an example when we have no idea how it would've played out. Yes, he won a couple big matches out of the gate, but Reigns has been pushed as an untouchable god for nearly three years. It's just too small of a sample size for me. He could've just as easily gone on to drop the belt to Owens in a few months rather than being booked like Superman until the Rumble or Mania. |
