It may be a redundant question to most but I need to ask anyways. Do any of u guys feel that WWE has a sort of vindetta against the Rock & Roll Express and if so, why?? I personally feel this way because they just seem to bury them. They're obviously able to make figures of them because we have the 2008 Classic Superstars (as f😜😡ed up as they were when they came out & there was no fixed reissue so there's more proof to my point) but it just doesn't seem to be in the stars to happen again anytime soon. Most will argue that they wouldn't be "top sellers" but we recently got Magnum TA & the R&R were FAR more popular then he was back in the day, plus, u cannot fairly base making them on how Magnum has sold because it's entirely different.....To quote Ricky Morton himself, "They were rock stars & didn't even know it" ...All WWE seems to wanna make are figures after figures after figures of the copycat Rockers (which is awesome for fans of theirs, not knocking u guys at all) but c'mon now, give us the original, real R&R boys in decent Mattel figure form....By God they deserve it!!!

I believe they said that they don't have the budget to do Robert Gibson's eyes.

Mattel most likely can't make them. They just appeared in TNA so that should give you an idea.
But they might just sign soon, but as of right now there's nothing Mattel can do.

Aww, you speak of the Express that Rocks and Rolls. Perhaps someday Ricky Morton will return to the earthen plane as he descends from the sky!
Jakks messing them up was lame. But it doesn't mean the WWE has a "Vindetta" against them. Is that a Vince Vendetta, a "Vindetta?" Brilliant!
Mattel has made one two-pack of the Rockers and that's is for Marty. That's figures after figures after figures?
And the RnR Express were only in the WWF for a short bit, first with the horrible SMW stuff and then later with the horrible NWA angle. Maybe 30 years ago they would sell well, but these days?
I would buy them, I would buy anybody and everybody. But the demand can't be that big for those mulletheads.

The sad reality of an old school collector is as the years roll on our yesteryear heroes are pretty much less desirable for retail. I would love to see the Midnight Express in Mattel form, but half this board don't know who they are. The Freebirds going into the HOF last year would have been so obvious for a 3-pack, but no word on something like that either.
Our trailblazers will probably never be immortalized in Mattel-style

Despite my comment about Gibson (RL bad blood) I would mortgage my home to own figures of Ricky and Robert.

I feel like the Rock and Roll Express would peg warm as badly as Tito, Junk Yard Dog, and the horsemen sets. Very limited demand.

I would love the RnR Express. Would also love both incarnations of the Midnight Exp (not counting the attitude era). I would also love the Killer Bees, Rougeaus and many other teams from that era. Unfortunately not enough of us want them so who knows if they ever will be made.

I am not just talking about Mattel, I'm talking about ALL past figures of the Rockers from Hasbro on up through Jakks Pacific & beyond. Like it or not, they've had they're share of figures made. And why smh??

Most fans of "wrestling" these days can't think past what's currently in their face unless it's to buy that 15 millionth John Cena figure that's made in what seems to be every series out there. Out of site, out of mind is an understatement here.

And why smh?? The Rockers were hugely over during their WWF run, and HBK figures will always sell well due to his singles success. The R&R Express had a nice run and obviously some serious longevity, but their runs in the two major companies were short and didn't make much of a splash. I doubt that figures from their WWF/WCW days would have even been possible given the turnaround time on sculpting, production, etc. All things considered, I'm honestly surprised that the Rockers don't have more figures out than they do.
