Stings head probably just looks big due to being down so low. If it was raised up, might look fine Paging Dr. PJ , cotton ball neck surgery needed If it is in fact needed when I find this set...You know I will do that ASAP. lol  It's harder to show the size difference in pictures. Mattel still hasn't made a perfect Surfer Sting yet after a few tries. You found it? Let's see some loose pics already.  |

I am guessing it does seeing in the MOC pics you can sort of see a couple letter of Stinger on his other leg in different colors.

I tend to give Mattel a lot more slack than other members but if you look from the back of the hair to the front of Sting's face, the head scan is huge. Mattel has a few issues with scaling headscans to the correct size lately but it seems like Sting keeps getting the huge head scans. Hopefully a Basic is in the works with the correct size. |

 I raised the head with the longest neck peg available which makes it a lot better but it's still huge.   Looks amazing in the pics. |

They cant get consistent with The Rock and Sting was never shredded. The thing I love about Mattel compared to Jakks isnt the head sizes, its all the arm, leg, boot, torso molds that are unique instead of giving everyone balloon arms and kickpads. Torso cracking is the biggest pain in the ass too to keep tight and such. I can usually crack them no problem, its the fact that I have to clean them up and glue them most of the time. Edit: Also bugs me that EVERY Mattel Sting has the HHH arms, except the RSE....I put a Crow DM jacket on it to hide the Bryan/Punk/HBK arms. |

I wonder if his head size has anything to do with the fact that it's a model off pictures instead of an in-house scan? I believe his first DM and the newest Wolfpac version are closer to average sizes, but both surfer versions are a bit big. This isn't a catch-all for scans though. Macho is obviously not a modern scan and they seem smaller. JYD is the same way. But then the first Luger scan was average sized but his narcissist version was a bit big. |
