I'm not sure if anyone else brought this up. It's a minor detail, but why did Mattel use a chartreuse green color for the base of Savage's tights. They already used a yellow base on the Macho Maniacs Savage, so it was definitely possible to use it. I love the figure, the color choice just doesn't make any sense. The BATB Macho's "yellow" tights shockingly is a near match for the lime green of the HOF Target Macho King. What MDT needed to do was match the yellow of the tassles. How do you get the tassles right and screw up the tights. I mean WTF happened there. |

all my area Walmarts have reset the toy sections and have a spot for these 3pks but the spots have remained empty for weeks. I finally asked a manager today and he said there are none in-transit and none on order. (He ordered them for me)
I don't understand how/why this happens and I feel this ultimately contributes to poor sales for the line in general but also just in those particular stores WWE sales will be bad but it may be because of lack of inventory.
One of my Walmarts has only Daniel Bryan elites. One has only nasty boys. Another has no elites on the hooks. All have 3 or more hooks for elites and it stays like this for months at a time.

I hate it when they do crap like that, it's not so much about it being exactly wrong but also the fact that the possibilities of the same exact figure being released in an accurate form is highly unlikely. Mattel just needs to get their Stings together. I've been waiting for some really good ones on the same exact level as ministry Taker but so far the only one which is "decent enough" is the Starrcade Sting. |

I have both and it is more than likely the same exact figure, just with different paint apps. Again, they HAD yellow because of the Ultimate Maniacs version. Odd choice for sure |

I picked up a set at Wal-Mart tonight after reading this thread. I didn't watch wrestling in 1996 and I have no interest own this set but if anyone wants one I'll sell it to you for $55 (what i paid with tax) plus shipping. They had 2 and I got the one with the better paint jobs. Luger's face was all jacked up on the other one. The box is mint and all the figures seem to have pretty good paint jobs. Let me know I'm just here to help not to screw anyone over. I'd be happy to ship overseas but again you have to pay the shipping. I won't gouge you either. I'll just charge face value. Just trying to help a brother or sister out.

Found 1 set of these and 2 sets of SHIELD at my Walmart today. A couple months ago I would have thrown these in the cart without thought, but for some reason I put them back on the shelf and walked away. I was actually more tempted by the retros, but my willpower held out. I think I've reached a point in my collecting that I'm going to sit back and hunt bargains.

Is there anyone here who knew what is the missing one? If that's the then and forever 3 packs where is the now Nothing because they didn't make a Now. Just the WCW trio as Forever and the Shield as Then. If they sell enough of them, Mattel might expand to making 3 different sets in the 3 packs series. The closest you have to a Now is the Booty O's New Day 3 pack which isn't a Walmart exclusive. |
