Ultimate Warrior, in 2007. The first of any type of wrestling I ever watched was 'The Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior' DVD. I had played SmackDown VS RAW! at a friends' house for the past couple of years, but I hadn't actually ever had any clue what wrestling actually was outside of the game. But I still find it hilariously ironic that a DVD made in an attempt to ridicule Warrior was what made me a huge fan of his, and to this day I can't stand Bobby Heenan. Speaking of the participants as a whole, even though I had no knowledge of who was actually in the right, or how much of the remarks were entirely slanderous, I always assumed that they were just that, slander, because Warrior was far too exciting for me not to like him. The following year I managed to meet him, and wonderfully, I found him to be absolutely brilliant from the brief 2 minutes I spent talking to him, and observing his treatment of other fans in the 3 hours in queue, which just proved that at least the remarks made about Warrior's self-centred attitude were purely slander, and I was, and still am, willing to believe that Warrior was nothing like the image they tried to create in 2005.
A couple months after watching the DVD, in either late summer or Autumn of 2007 I began watching WWE. The first RAW I have a vivid memory of was the first RAW of 2008, which began with a recap of the main event of the week prior, of Jeff Hardy VS Umaga in a Steel Cage match. Of course Jeff would soon perform his iconic dive off the RAW stage onto Randy Orton, and I instantly became a big fan of Jeff Hardy from those two moments.
Triple H was also someone I quickly took a liking to. Throwing a sledgehammer through the RAW minitron at Mr McMahon's face seemed pretty cool to my prepubescent self, and I always liked his long hair look.

I got hooked around 5 years old. Because it was in that 1989-1990 time frame my favorites were the usuals- hogan, warrior, savage, Jake Roberts....
Savage is probably number 1 on my all time list, even to this day. And he may not be the best wrestler ever, but to this day you can't deny the charisma and energy Hogan brought through the screen in his heyday. I would doubt anyone who was a young kid at the time who said they didn't like Hogan.

Roddy Piper. The very first thing I ever saw that had to do with wrestling was Piper beating up Frankie Williams in "Pipers Pit".

Mankind. When I was a kid I was obsessed with him and loved his look, mask and crazy character.
If I wasn't for him I probably wouldn't be here now.

"EXOTIC" ADRIAN STREET
Mom got me into him back in the day. She used to watch wrestling in the territorial days (she doesn't watch anymore) . And, me being from Alabama, he was always a perfect foil for the rednecks. She always loved the bad guys and showed me what was up when I was 5.

The first match I ever saw was on a Saturday morning. Shawn Michaels defeated Kamala with the help of his bodyguard Diesel. I fell in love with Shawn Michaels immediately and the rest, as they say, is history.

I've been watching so long I don't remember a time I didn't watch. I always say I was probably 3 or 4 when I started watching. Growing up I was a huge Jerry Lawler fan. I always say he was my Hulk Hogan.
I started watching WWF regularly at the time that Raw started and I was instantly hooked on Shawn Michaels.

Can't remember a time in my life where I haven't watched wresting. I was born in '98 but the first wrestling I ever saw were my uncle's old WWF tapes from the Golden Era. Undertaker was my absolute favourite followed by Hogan, Bossman, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Demolition and Brutus Beefcake.
Random thought - Was anyone else scared of Paul Bearer but not Undertaker when they were little? I used to have nightmares where he would try to put me in this massive urn. Weird stuff haha.
