We are moving at the end of the month into a house and I am going through my wrestling collection and I was wondering if it's even worth trying to sell my old WWE DVDs. They are the original discs in the original boxes but I never watch any of them ever since the network came out. Right now all they are doing is taking up space and if I can get a little extra money for them I will list them on craigslist or eBay Are people even interested in these DVDs anymore? Thanks for anyone that can help

People will still buy them if they collect them.
The only thing is, you probably won't make A LOT of money for them now. With the Network being available out there, a lot of the stuff people want to see is already at their finger tips with that.
But I know there are still people who buy wrestling dvds and blu rays. I just recently bought one the other day.

I just bought Hulk Still Rules DVD from back in 2002, and I got it for $5. So they are going for super cheap now. But like you said, if you can get any money for them, that's good. So good luck with selling them!

The Network pretty much killed the aftermarket for their DVDs, unfortunately. Just being realistic, I'm not sure what you're looking to sell your collection for, but a year of WWE Network is only $120 for unlimited access to pretty much every major PPV/documentary.
This is coming from a guy who has his own worthless warehouse of dusty wrestling DVDs and VHS tapes (yup!).

I buy the specials that I fancy on Blu Ray e.g Hart of Gold, Best of NXT etc. and haven't bought a PPV since MitB 2011. I'm slightly surprised they still release every event. Seriously, who is buying the clash of champions 2016 blu ray except die hard collectors? Maybe I'm wrong.
I still have a wardrobe filled of VHS's with late 90's early 00's PPVs on them. Always planned to convert them to DVD, The Network has saved me from that hassle!

It's difficult to sell wrestling DVDS now - what with the WWE network, and the fact you can watch almost any wrestling match on youtube for free - it's more challenging than ever to get people to buy WWE dvd's - but I'm sure there's still a few out there that still do collect them.

And I wanted them to release Backlash because I wanted AJ's title win on DVD but that isn't the case. The problem with the Network though for certain things is music is edited. Like take ECW for example. All the songs aren't the regular ones, but if you have the old ECW PPVs and weekly shows on tape, you at least have the real music for them.

I frequently buy used wrestling DVDs from a local game store. I like the security of knowing I have them, not just have access via a subscription to an internet service that may not be around forever.
I know you said WWE DVDs but is that everything or do you have some ROH or TNA DVDs as well? Just wondering because if you do I might be interested. Seems like people don't trade them in as much at the store and I would be interested.

I have every PPV ever on DVD and a crap ton of full season shows from all promotions as well. My collection is massive to say the least.

PPVS are sadly not coming out on DVD - you can only purchase RAW PPVS on DVD - and when a PPV is a joint-production like a summerslam, Mania, or survivor series. why WWE have decided to not release the smackdown! ones I don't have a clue, whether they feel, they wont sell as well as the others or what??

I would buy the WWF dvds and VHS tapes I could get my hands on. Trying to get my 2000/2001 collection started back up. Have a few random coliseum vhs tapes as well.
Idk...there's just something about having that crap in hand that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

The market for DVD's are much smaller since the network came out, but there is still one. I'm sure you could still get a few bucks for each one.
I too have a ridiculously oversized VHS/DVD collection. I like knowing if for some reason I don't keep the network or it somehow went away, I still have my fingertips on basically everything still.

Also there are so many old Coliseum Video tapes that will never be added to the Network. Some of those can still fetch some good money.
