So, I literally had this dream last night where I was in WWE Axxess for Mania. For some stupid reason, I bought VIP tickets to see John Cena in that dream. (would never pay to see him) The only thing I vaguely remember was telling Cena to his face that it's great he decided to finally stop burying people, but he should have done this sooner because he's what's wrong with wrestling.
Question is this: For all the hate Cena gets from the internet wrestling community, has anyone ever in person called him out on the perceived issues?
Same goes to any wrestler. Is there video of any fan paying money just to tell a wrestler that he is horrible? I can't find any vids (but maybe I'm not looking in the right places). There has to bea t least one person who had no filter and just decided to tell a wrestler why he hates him/her or why he/she is bad for business.
Are there really just a ton of keyboard warriors or have people actually respectfully confronted wrestlers with their real negative opinions? In the years of wrestlers making appearances, has no one told Triple H, Hulk Hogan, or others who were believed to have big issues with younger talent that they are what's wrong with wrestling? We speak so freely online about it. I'm just wondering if it's been done in person.

Cena doesn't get hate from the IWC anymore. Most people actually really like him now. If this was 2006, this question would be much more appropriate.

Just using it as an example Hauz.
I think people generally don't care for Reigns. Has anyone done that to him? (Is that better lol)
Just an example. insert any wrestler you hate for Cena. To paraphrase Alex Riley's theme, has anyone said it to their face?

1) The fact that you were at Axxess makes it a nightmare.
2) Reigns is the new Cena. Cena works his ass off and now that there's a new scapegoat, he can really cement his WWE legacy.

I'm sure they have. And they were probably promptly ignored, dismissed, or made fun of and then removed.

With people wanting their 15 minutes of fame, I would think any opportunity someone has to go viral would be seized upon. I'm honestly thinking that people who end up encountering wrestlers they hate (be it randomly on the street or at appearances) get starstruck and forget their negative opinions just for a pic.

blaming john cena the person for what happens to john cena the character on a show wouldn't make much sense. if you told them you didn't like certain directions they took etc, i'm sure they'd respect that although probably not agree. but to hate an individual and express that, when in reality your distaste comes from the product itself...wouldn't make much sense and the 'still real to me' guy comes to mind.

I remember someone having a video in 2010 where they were meeting Eve Torres and The Miz and they made a scene about Miz. He was US champion at the time and they said he was a disgrace to the US Championship lineage, he can't work and that Benoit is the best US champ of all time. Miz handled it well, held his own and the fan just ended up looking stupid.

It wasn't necessarily something like this, but an interviewer called Randy Orton fragile, and Orton slapped the piss out of him.
Actually now that I'm thinking on this it MIGHT have been two separate things, but I do remember an interviewer calling him fragile and I do remember him slapping am interviewer, whether it was the same one or not I can't remember.

Seperate incidents but both funny as hell 😂 Hearing the Mexican reporter who called him fragile whimper is hilarious!

Complaining on a forum about how things are and making tongue in cheek comments about how much you dislike somebody is one thing but actually spending time genuinely hating someone because you don't like them on television is another. Confronting a wrestler is just moronic and you look stupid.
For example, look at this tool:

I think the real question is would any of the wrestlers care if some internet nerd told then what they thought to their face?

It would be interesting to see how the wrestlers handled it--whether it be in character or not. I have a feeling a guy like Reigns would dismiss it with a douchy response while a guy like Miz would go off as if it was a TalkingSmack segment.

Probably ended up trying to become a swat member but became a glorified security guard, or working in a mental asylum.

i can't think of a wrestler that I disliked enough that I would feel the need to say anything to their face like that. However, I honestly feel if I was given the opportunity to express myself to some of the writers/creative, that would be a different story. Line them up at Axxess and I'm sure most of the hardcore fans would have some feelings to share with them.

A long time ago I got the chance to meet Hogan and his daughter at an autograph signing at the mall of America. Hoganis the most hated Wrestler ever by me and I knew this was my chance to tell him how I truly felt. In order to meet him the only requirement was that you bought Brooke Hogan's CD when she was trying to become a singer. So I went to Sam Goody and bought her CD so I could stand in line. Then when it was my turn to go up to the table I skipped past Brooke Hogan and she asked me if I wanted the CD signed and I said no I was here to talk to her dad. I then told Hulk hogan how much I hated him and how much of a liar he is And how everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie. All he ended up doing was saying thank you brother back to me. What was also funny is that while I was standing in line I had people coming up to me asking if they could give me Hogan merchandise to have signed for them because I only had the one CD in my hand and you could have two things signed by Hogan and I skipped that too. I then went back to Sam Goody and returned the CD since it was never opened
