i am going to france on a school trip to paris. and i was wondering if they do figs there because were going to a big department store called Galleries la fayate. karma awarded

When I was in Paris last year I didn't really go looking for figures, but nevertheless I PM'd PQ about it (He's the WF Support Centre mod and is French), and he said there was a place called LuluBerlu in paris that sold them, and from the pics on the site it looked like the French Forbidden Planet, but the figures on the site were very expensive and I doubt you'll find any in any other shop. Besides, if you're with your friends and they've bought expensive things and crapand you've just bought figures, aren't people going to look at you a little funny? I mean it wouldn't bother me but ya know they might take it differently and resent you for the rest of your time there.
To answer your question Galerie La Fayette doesn't sell anything but perfume and clothes, my mum loves it but to me it's a bit crap IMO.
On the plus side though the Virgin Megastore there is extremely good and you can get some real bargains the likes of which you won't find over here.

erm i went to a toys r us in calais a few years bak, they had nothing. That was a while bak tho, and i think Jakks distribution has increased. But u never really hear about wwe things happenin in france. PQ might be able to help u out...

The simple answer from having been all over France over the years is no, you won't find any unless it is a specialist shop, and they will be rare.
