 The 1997 Survivor Series will go down in history as the last confrontation between Bret "the Hitman" Hart and Shawn Michaels for the WWF championship. We all know the story, Bret was leaving for WCW but didn't won't to drop the WWF title to Shawn in his hometown because Shawn wouldn't do Bret the job he did at WM 12 thus the Montreal Screwjob.But what if Bret decided to stay with the WWF? How would Bret's career, his feud with Shawn, Owen Hart, Stone Cold, and the Mr.Mcmahon character be affected by this last minute decision??

Ross: Welcome everyone to Raw is War! And oh boy, what a Raw this will be. Lawler: After last night, you bet JR! Ross: Folks if you don't know what we're talking about then.....Take a look at this! Footage of Survivor Series 1997 plays: Ross: I've seen it and I.....I still can't believe it! I'm completely stunned and outraged about this...This Screwjob!! Lawler: Well if you ask me Bret Hart deserved this! That punk has been disgracing the WWF Championship since he ever won it! Ross: Well I not surprised that YOU would think differently. Lawler: Oh come on JR! You know I'm right! Everyone knows I am! Even Vi... DX theme interrupts Lawler's rant: Ross: Oh boy here they are! Rick Rude appears to a large respondent of boos Lawler: DX has a lot of nerves interrupting me! Ross: They have nerves just showing up here! DX promo:  Micheals: Triple H, Chyna, Rick Rude, and the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Micheals, D-Generation X is on top of the world!! Crowd starts to chant we want Bret Micheals: For all the people who chant we want Bret. Crowd chant we want Bret louder Micheals: You can say it but for the matter of fact! Shawn Micheals beat Bret Hart in his home country, in his hometown, and with his own finishing move! I sent his @$$ down south with those old dinosaurs! And for all those dinosaurs Bret, there are friends down there who will kick your @$$! Crowd boos louder Micheals: I'll fight anybody, anytime, anywhere, and will never say I quit like Bret Har Hart Foundation theme plays: Ross: It's the Hart foundation!!!! Crowd goes nuts Lawler: What are they doing here?! Ross: Probably to make DX pay for last night. Owen: I want to you to know something Micheals. You are a disgrace to not only the WWF but to the human race! Crowd pops Owen: Not only that, but you couldn't beat my brother Bret without having to screw him out of the WWF title! Crowd cheers and chants Owen Micheals: Obviously you think your though s#*/ so hows about you and I have a go. After all I said I would fight anyone, anywhere, anytime! Crowd cheers Owen: You wanna go? Alright tonight we go one on one, for the WWF championship! Crowd snaps Micheals: Well just guess what? I'll decide what it's for or not! First off I can beat Bret anyday of the week! Second off, who said.. Oh boy here we go! Ross: Here's Commissioner Slaughter! Slaughter: Micheals you are scheduled to defend the World Wrestling Federation Championship against this man Owen Hart! Micheals: Okay hold on! I just defeated a man who is a legend in his own mind last night and ran him out of the WWF. I can't defend the title tonight. Normally I would but.. Slaughter: Not tonight! However you, Triple H, are scheduled to face this man tonight! HHH: Hold up! I already have a match later tonight I'm not touching him. Don't get me wrong I would kick his @$$ anytime but not right now. I have business to take care of. Slaughter: You do have a match tonight however it's against this man Owen Hart! But to make sure nothing shady happens I'll be at ringside and both D-Generation X and the Hart Foundation are barred from ringside! And that's an order!!!! Crowd goes wild as the Hart foundation music plays Ross: I knew this night would be interesting but I didn't think it would be this interesting! Notable matches:

Undertaker and Kama fought to a no contest
Hart Foundation's revenge: Owen Hart vs. Triple H Triple H makes his way to the ring mangerless as well as Owen. The bell rings and immediately Owen starts throwing punches at Triple H and eventually drops a dropkick to HHH sending him down to the mat. Owen picks up HHH and sends him into the corner and gets to the top rope for a ten-punch, but on four HHH reverses into a spin buster. HHH does the dx suck it taunt at the crowd but is then small packaged by Owen to a count of two. JR almost thought he had him. Owen gets up and gives HHH a Ric Flair esque slap. Owen then goes up on the top rope and delivers a Bret Hart styled elbow drop. Owen goes for the pin but only gets a two count. Owen and HHH keep trading punches untill HHH irish wips Owen and then gives him a another spinbuster. HHH puts Owen into a sharpshooter which upsets not only the crowd but Jim Ross as well. Eventually Owen makes it to the ropes and HHH lets the hold go. HHH then setups for the pettigree but is flip over by Owen who puts a sleeper hold on HHH and nearly get HHH to tap but let go due to HHH scratching Owen's eye which the ref doesn't notice. HHH then goes for a pin but only gets a two count which inrages him. HHH starts to kick a downed Owen until the ref threatens to dq him. HHH then picks Owen up for a piledriver but then is set up for the pettigree and is pinned 1 2 3.  The Hart foundation theme plays as Owen celebrates his win but then is cut off when Shawn Micheals attacks Owen and starts kicking him in the gut. The rest of the Hart Foundation came out and started attacking Micheals as Owen was defending himself from HHH. Chyna from the crowd started attack the British Bulldog as he was fighting HHH. Eventually the whole locker room (but Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Kane, Mankind, and Kama) came out and tried to break up the fight but ended up joining in as many started to fight each other ending the show.

Flash Funk enters the ring for his last WWF match I said it was his last WWF match. Also, Eddie Guerrero may or may not bring the Cruiserweight championship with him.

Only possible due to the fact his WWF contract lapsed, and Vince & Co. didn't realize he was a free agent. If he had a valid deal, it would all be moot. Any attempt otherwise, and Vince could have sued. |

Interviewer: So at the 1997 Survivor Series you lose to Shawn because of Vince telling the ref to ring the bell and then, you leave? Why didn't you immediately ask for a rematch? Bret Hart: Because I knew the type of guy Shawn was back then and at first I didn't want to lose in Montreal. I told Vince that I didn't, so we had a fallout because I also asked for time off and he demanded I drop the belt too. I was exhausted and worn out and Vince knew that too. I thought I could drop it on Raw the next night or In Your House. Interviewer: What were you doing during your time off? Bret Hart: It was vacation time for me, but it was mainly time spent with my wife and son. Interviewer: Why didn't you go to WCW? They were offering a lot of money for you to wrestle there. Bret Hart: I was tired of wrestling at the time, remember I had been wrestling for the WWF since 1985. For 12 years I had wrestled for Vince and the WWF so I refused but he (Eric Bishoff) kept pushing me to sign. Eventually I had to flat out tell him that I would never work for Ted Turner and then he stopped.
