Okay so I am going to get a Vauxhall Astra - SRi XP (Exterior Pack), 1.8i Manual. The Exterior Pack basically includes (over the Standard SRi) 18- inch alloy's, Body colour rear roof spoiler, side sills, rear lower bumper and front lower bumper. So it'd be cool if you'd give your opinion of the colour that I should go for. Now I have some pics I took of one of the dealers cars, which will be the same model and everything, as to what I'm getting. His is in the Silver Lightning colour, so I Photoshopped (absolutley terribly) the car into black. (Note: His car was dirty, the windows on the Photoshopped one are way too dark because I didn't cut them out) Here are the pics.      |

You need help choosing the colour of a car.... why?
If you were colour blind then I'd understand but why is that you're so individually incapable to choose a colour of a car that you need help from people you don't know and people that don't actually care what colour it is?

Personally, I'd always choose Silver over Black on an Astra.
Silver = Sporty
Black = Cool

Silver is pretty common these days... everyone hasd a silver car.
But, black is a bitch to keep clean. It rains and your car looks crap.
Go with Silver.

black cars look cooler IMO, BUT I would go for the silver because black is less visible to other drivers and therefore more likely to have an accident

I went for the Lightning Silver.
I've always wanted a black car and thought they are so cool, but in the end I think that the silver brings out the features of the car so you can see them more clearly, also it stands out. Black looks great clean but crappy dirty. And everybody has a silver car, so everyone buys black. I think this is a good in-between.

erm im a fan of Black aesthetically, practically silver is better as it doesnt show up the dirt as much. My saxo is silver and unless ur close up ur none the wiser to the filth it actually beholds!   I think it wud look pretty good in black tho |

It does look good in black I agree, but like someone above said you see lots of black and not many silvers. +1 |
