The card is kind of weak match up wise.
I fully expect every match to deliver but it's definitely an odd card for a takeover. The lack of Joe, The Revival, Ember Moon, TM61, etc is just odd.
I'm expecting the women or Roddy/Almas to be match of the night.

I like the card but I have to wonder: what about Joe & the Revival? A match to be added later or a sign that a call-up is in their very near future?

A friend of mine brought up that Joe vs. Ohno could be made last minute.

It does seem like an odd card. Seems very predictable as well.
Nakamura over Roode Asuka retains Roddy over Almas Young over Dillinger
The only question mark for me is the tag title match. DIY should retain but for some reason they seem to have a big one for Authors of Pain.
Things will probably pick up in time for Takeover: Miami when Itami returns and Ohno becomes part of the main event picture. Add in Tommy End and start pushing Roddy more, and they'll be back to the standard for NXT.

What's going on with Aries?
Is he still out from the Nakamura kick? If not they should have him attack Roddy post match and go Roddy/Aries for the Mania weekend Takeover.

Have Aries and Strong split up and do Aries/Strong at Takeover Brooklyn. Roddy gets the win and further establishes himself as a top guy in NXT while Aries moves on to 205Live and Raw.

I wouldn't say its a dumb move, but him going on and being a commentator familiarizes the casual fan. His smart ass and heel style of talk will ramp up when he gets closer to return, and then bam, he attacks whoever is champion and shocks alot of people. I can't wait. Aries would easily solidify and legitimize the CW division so yeah, wasting in NXT really won't do him favors. Excited to see Swann, Aries, Neville, Itami, Kendrick all leading the way for this division.

I, for one, am glad TM61 isn't plaguing this card, That makes it more enjoyable for me. I want EY to destroy Dillinger and I want Almas to beat that pos Strong.

I see Dillinger picking up the W, but Sanity ganging up on him post match to even out the win. Wouldn't mind seeing Hideo return and make the save (if he is healthy). Would not make much sense, but it would be rad.

Not into this card at all, but I'm sure the show will deliver just fine.

Looks like a pretty good show. I only watch Takeovers as far as NXT goes. The rest of the shows I just read the spoilers online.

I'd be much more okay with this if they weren't still treating the division like crap on Raw.

I'd rather see Austin Aries competing for a main event or mid card title than the cruiserweight belt. The cruiserweights are really just filler on Raw at this point. It would be different if they could face normal superstars too but being limited to guys under 205 pounds eliminates a lot of options.

I don't know why but I'm not hyped at all for this. Maybe it's because the Rumble is SO stacked or it's just because the card is so weak, I don't know. Maybe it's good for Nxt to take seat back and not try to overshadow the main product at every given opportunity. AFter all it's still meant as the development brand.
