So after moving a few of my figures around earlier, I finally realised why my E12 Kane figure was always leaning to one side. I bought E12 Kane at retail when it came out, so it must be about 5 years ago and since then it has annoyed the hell out of me that even on a figure stand it was leaning. Just realised today one of the boots is wrong, he has one tall thick boot and one slightly shorter and thinner. It looks like Kane has polio I cant believe I never noticed this before So now I need to swap the boot out, what figures use the tall thick boot mould, is it just Kane/Undertaker/Big Show perhaps? Looking for the cheapest figure to pick up just for 1 boot  |

Man, I'm sorry, but I'm legit laughing out loud at your poor Kane. All these years with the wrong boots.
I can't remember if Undertaker and Big Show have bigger boots than Kane.
Figures like HOF M$M and TNF Savage have paint you would need to remove.

I would probably just get a loose elite Taker or maybe look for a fodder part lot on ebay?
I think E39 Sid had the same boots too, that's gotta be cheap somewhere.

That sucks! A current Kane should be pretty easy. Other wise a basic Kane or Undertaker should be fairly easy and cheaper. Can't remember if you'll need minor modding.

I put glossy boots from some modern Kane on mine. Looks great. I'm sure E47b Kane will be cheap and easy to get if you can't find an old one.

I put glossy boots from some modern Kane on mine. Looks great. I'm sure E47b Kane will be cheap and easy to get if you can't find an old one. Good call. Think my son has an old elite Kane he never plays with that has the glossy boots that I can swap over, he wont mind. Will they pop straight on or will some modding be needed?? |

You have to shave a bit of material off inside the hole on top of the boot in order for the basic boot to fit on an elite calf peg. I just use an Xacto knife to shave it down until it fits flush. |

Elite figures have a lip ring around the stem coming from the calves that basic figures don't have. So to put a basic boot on an elite figure you need to make the hole at the top of the boot larger to fit/hide the lip into the boot. Putting an Elite boot into a basic body you just heat and exchange. |

wayneyb I don't think it does but spraying on some gloss sealer should do the trick whilst swapping the boots back onto your Elite 10 Kane.
