Reports have come out recently that Anthem are moving away from the TNA name. I've never really liked the TNA initials, I remember finding them weird when I first got into TNA back in '07, though I have to admit they've grown on me for the past ten years. That's why, in my opinion, the company will always be 'TNA'. TNA has a lot of people who know of them, but no where near as many who actually follow them. Therefore, not everyone will be privy to the name change. The WWF/E was different, they had a much bigger following, plus it was a big news scandal at the time. Despite this, I still hear people today refer to it as the WWF.
It's a lot of money we're talking about to change a company's name. I think it's a good idea, though I don't think it'll come to fruition.

As long as they have one and only one name....it will be a change for the better. Hopefully we get new belts as well. World Title and whatever they are calling the mid card belt are AWFUL looking aesthetically.

It will. Rebranding is a good idea, and they should do it, but... people who have been following the company for over a decade (or any good chunk of time, really) will always know it as TNA. It'll take a long while before any new name will catch on, IMO.
I just hope they change the logo again. And I wouldn't mind the red/black color scheme returning - the whole silver/black/blue thing they have going feels really bland to me.

i'm not sure of all the steps they'd have to undergo to do this, but from an outsider perspective i'd say they should certainly rebrand completely. the product, despite really trying these days, stinks of it's past.

well they moved from nwa tna to TNA so it could happen but it needs to be clear and defined not all this ambiguity with the show being one thing and josh Mathews calling it another or the end credits saying TNA and the opening says impact. Good Grief it's the embodiment of the cluster of the company that it's become.

A name change wouldn't help them at all.
