Joshua Dean Health Update
The WFWF medical staff attended to Joshua Dean after his defeat at the hands of Ante Whitner on Night 2 of the Supreme Gauntlet 17! Dean was unresponsive to initial examinations and it was feared he was concussed. Josh was rushed to the SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital for further testing and his results have come back positive for a concussion, however it was also discovered that he has a torn labrum and some minor pectoral damage caused by his collision with the guard wall.
It is an unfortunate situation but Joshua Dean can no longer compete in the Supreme Gauntlet 17! and as such all of his remaining opponents will be granted points in lieu of their scheduled match.
We wish Josh a speedy recovery and will be back to you all soon with comment from Ante Whitner.
