Figured this might be helpful for anyone else wanting to do this. For those who don't know, Series 12 Kane is absurdly expensive, so this is your only option for getting The Big Red Machine in his original colors. [PROCESS] •Disassemble the body as usual. I had doubts that just heating the body would let the hard body split open neatly, but it worked great. Seems like the heat really does soften the glue in the pegs or something. In this pic, the parts on the right side don't need modification, you can put those away. •We're going to invert the black/red so sand away as much of the red paint as you can. I don't recommend using acetone to remove this much paint unless you have a secret technique to not make a mess. Quick note: the black arm is actually a flesh arm painted black...okay, weird choice, but whatever. •Grind down the edges of the crotch/butt areas to make it easier to pose the legs without scraping paint off the hips. Do the same for the armpit area and elbow/knees if you feel like it. •Get to painting! I'm using a subdued red, I'll use black paint mainly to neatly make the "flame" effects. If you completely removed the old red paint, you may not even have to paint the black areas since there's black plastic underneath. I got his far, now wondering if I should sculpt the belt and laces on the left leg...

Anyone have more info on these pictures? In the top pic, Kane's silver studs are surrounded by 4 more smaller silver studs, but in the bottom pic it's just the single studs. Are they the same attire?

I hadn't noticed the stud thing until now but maybe they slightly modified his attire for WrestleMania 14 compared to his debut attire. Kane has a history of having very unnoticeable slight mods to his gear (his 2006-2011 tights & 2012-present attire)

No update picture this time, I just basically painted him with more red lol, and dabbed superglue in the knees to keep the paint from scraping off. I definitely need to sculpt the laces on the left leg since they're sculpted a little bit on the ab pieces.

Ok, got bored so here's another quick pic. Going to make the belt a separate piece so it's not just painted on.

Going slow on this because I have other stuff to deal with, but it's almost done Painted the leg laces because sculpting each lace would drive me insane Hm the red looks bright here but it's actually more like leather red

Would you by chance do this for me with my WM31 Kane? If so, message me, please.

The figure cost me like $20, then I usually charge about $60 labor for stuff like this, plus whatever shipping costs to you (First Class or Priority USPS). I can let it go for $80 shipped, but I think at that point you could just buy the official figure lol. I might have gone lower for a different wrestler but I've been wanting a big red machine for a while If you send me a Kane to work with, I would take the $20 off and just add shipping, which is like $3 to $5.

I'll probably pass then. Thanks though.
