No offence man, but they're all crap. Most no-name brands are made with bits and pieces where the lazer/motor burns out on them pretty easily. buying any of those is just gonna cost more in the long run. This is a little out of your budget, but: www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5336157/Trail/searchtext%3EDVD+PLAYER.htmnow, i found that after about 30 seconds looking, im sure you'd get a Philips much cheaper. i've had a Philips one for years and never had a problem with it. they're cheap cos they use crappy packaging, but the internal working parts are still pretty durable. Just an idea im throwing your way.

My PS2 is downstairs in my living room
But im just getting a £30 Philips one from Woolies, the one JLD recomended

yeah get a brand-name, no-name brands will just break
I'm sure most name-brands are fine, but I would say that I've got an Alba DVD108, a Sanyo DVD-7201, and a Sony DVP-NS300, and ONLY the Alba one plays every disc I try. Both the Sony and the Sanyo refuse to play some Region 1s, some DVD-R and some DVD+R discs

Im not buying from the Internet Well you should. Amazon UK were doing multi region DVD players (branded) for £15.
