Nice! The Brutus Mega Maniac proto does have a striped painted handles shear too! Where is the proof of that? A lot of customizers have added it to the customs as it looks cool. But, the only prototype photo I'm aware of actually shows him not holding any shears at all.

Amazing to see this! Thank you for posting it. Can't believe new things are still coming out in 2017. This was always one of my top 5 of the entire run, this one is even more special.
On a side note, anyone have an idea why Beefcake was so rare on U.S. cards? Seems as rare as Warrior from this series. But, I think Beefcake was still on good terms and on TV doing the barber shop regularly through 92' and into 93', so I don't understand why this figure wasn't out much in the U.S.
Luckily I did find him when I was a kid, got Brutus, Quake, Typhoon, Hogan, Hammer, Perfect and Tornado in one trip to KB Toys, they also had Macho Man #3, but didn't pick him up because he was just Macho King w/out the accessories. Didn't even have any clue a new series was coming out until walking into the store. Those were sure the days. And that I think still stands as my most memorable Hasbro pick up day.

Looks awesome! Would love to hear more about the story when you found boxes of unopened MOC Hasbro's in a warehouse. I have always dreamed of doing that, but just not that lucky HA!
What other finds have you got from Ron? Be awesome to see them...

That is very impressive I must admit - now word has broke, everyone will be looking for a stripey shears Brutus accessory - I wonder if any Brutus#1's were supposed to get striped shears (you know the 1st Brutus with the long pink tights)?
anyway thanks again for sharing mate, that is an incredibly nice piece.

Very nice indeed, Congratulations!
I wonder why Ron never told me about that piece a number of years ago. I think he's been up in his attic recently and found some gems!...

I assume you guys are saying you want to see the prototype as it exists now. But, the toyfair ad that shows him is one of the top google image results if you put in wwf Hasbro prototype. That's the pic I refered to earlier that shows him with no shears at all. But, Duggan does have his flag in that pic. So made me wonder if they were going to release him w/out shears. Would seem crazy to do that, but I know by that point they were getting pretty lazy and looking to cut as much cost as possible.
