Howdy folks;
Thought it'd be a fun idea to see what the curtain jerk & main event matches were of the first live shows that everyone had attended.
My first live event was a small house show in Boise, Idaho in February of 1988.
Opening match: S.D. Jones VS. Luscious Johnny Valiant
Main event: Hulk Hogan & Bam Bam Bigelow VS. Ted DiBiase & Virgil (w/Andre the Giant)
How about YOURS?

Opener: William Regal defeats Santino Marella - Intercontinental Championship Main Event: Batista & Rey Mysterio defeat Chris Jericho & Randy Orton
Not sure why it took me until 2008 to go to a show live in The UK, odd

WWF @ Chicago, IL - UIC Pavilion - May 24, 1985 Bret Hart pinned SD Jones at 14:00. Who knew Hart would go onto be one of the greats??
WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan pinned Don Muraco at 14:00 with a roll up after Muraco accidentally collided with Mr. Fuji on the ring apron; prior to the bout, Oprah interviewed both participants; after the bout, Hogan chased off both Muraco & Fuji before celebrating with Oprah. This was before Oprah was OPRAH. She hosted a daytime Chicago show called "AM Chicago".

Had to look up one of the opponents, but it was July 28, 1993 -- opener was Virgil/Damien Demento (forgot Demento, figures lol) ... main event was a great IC title match with HBK and Mr. Perfect. Was a small venue outside of Buffalo, sadly it was torn down a few years ago. Sat in the balcony and vividly remember leaving my program under my seat by accident when I left ... would do anything to have that today!

Oh how I hate and love my first show.
It was the July 29, 1996 Monday Night Nitro. It was during a time where there was no Titantrons.
Hacksaw Jim Dugganbeat Mean Mike Enos in the opener.
Then disaster. My favorites Lex Luger, Macho Man Randy Savage and Sting faced the Horsemen (Flair, McMichael and He Who Shall Not Named. According to my grandma, and subsequent replays of it, I made hte camera about 15 different times that night. Midway through the match, Jimmy Hart comes screaming out and all 6 go to the back. For the next hour, we sat in boredom. The crowd didn't know the nWo had attacked wrestlers in the back. No one knew what was going on.
Eventually,Steiners came out to beat High Voltage. Guerrero beat Big Bubba, and the main event saw Giant defend his title against the Hammer Greg Valentine.
So my first live match had Hacksaw beat Enos on a card where the Main Event saw Giant beat Valentine.
Yeah. If it wasn't for seeing Sting at Nitro, making it on TV a lot, and being outside in Disney, the card would be a bust. (Well it was a bust but had we been shown/told waht was going on, it'd be a different story).

My first live show was in 1992. I vividly remember Bret Hart vs Mountie and Randy Savage vs Jake Roberts. I know Sid was there too. He either faced Undertaker or Hogan...

It was in London Ontario, in November 1994.
123 Kid and Bob Holly fought to a draw Lex Luger beat Tatanka
Oddly enough, that was the same night that in New York that Diesel beat Bob Backlund for the WWE Title. So as New York fans got to see Big Daddy Cool win his first and only WWE Title, I got to see Lex beat Tatanka haha Oh well.

WWF Birmingham, England October 8, 1991
Opener: Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Typhoon Main event: British Bulldog vs Earthquake
Though Roddy Piper vs Undertaker was also on the show, and I'm guessing that would've been the main if the same roster was on a house show in the USA.

I went to like 3 shows in the early 80's, but was so young I honestly don't remember matches, just wrestlers who were there. My "2nd run" with live shows started in 1992, so I'll go with that :
Opening Match : Virgil vs Kamala ... yeah.
Main Event : WWF Champion Randy "Macho Man" Savage vs "Nature Boy" Rick Flair

First match was a flag match between Hogan and Volkoff
Last match was the Dream Team vs Garea & Poffo.
The best match for me was Piper vs Orndorff.

February 5, 1987. Don't remember the 1st match. But there was a Bunkhouse Battle Royal won by Blackjack Mulligan. Main Event was Piper v Adonis. I remember the last 30 seconds of that match like it happened yesterday.

Actually was able to find the card, but my first show as December 26, 1992, opening up with Jim Duggan beating the Brooklyn Brawler, and ending with Bret Hart retaining the WWF Title over Ric Flair. I always remember the main event, but had to look up to find the opening match.

My first even was the WWF UK Rampage in Glasgow in 1991 it was the first ever WWE show in Scotland.
The first match on the card was Jimmy Snuka vs The Brooklyn Brawler
The main even was Roddy Piper vs Ted Dibiase.
I loved the show! The best match was The Rockers vs The Orient Express, but my main memory of the show was during the match with Texas Tornado vs The Warlord. Kerry Von Erich was a huge hero of mine as a kind and there was a spot in the match where the Warlord slammed him into the steps. The sound from that is still something I can hear in my mind to this day! I cannot tell you another thing about that match, but that sound will probably be with me until the day I die.
