SummerSlam 88:
Bret "Hitman" Hat vs Bad News Brown - they never did have a proper TV ending to their feud
The Rockers vs The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers
"Ravishing" Rick Rude vs Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat - Rude gets the rub off Steamboat as Jake's interference still causes the DQ in Steamboat's swan song
Intercontinental Champion Honky Tonk Man vs Ultimate Warrior
Powers of Pain vs The Bolsheviks
Big Boss Man vs "The Rock" Don Muraco
Tag Team Champions Demolition vs The British Bulldogs - for all they did for the comapny, the Bulldogs deserved one PPV Tag Title match before leaving
Hulk Hogan vs "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase - Hogan finally gets his revenge on DiBiase for stealing his Title
WWF Champion Randy "Macho Man" Savage vs "Nature Boy" Ric Flair - Naitch has said that he was negotiating to come to the WWF in 1988, and if he did, Vince told him he'd face Randy for the Belt at the first SummerSlam

Hogan staying past 93 wouldn't have made sense given the whole steroid scandal and not to mention Hogan was on his way out of the company by 93 because Hogan was more or less a part-timer he was on his way to Hollywood regardless anyways so him going to WCW was inevitable so Hogan staying until 94 makes no sense
But if I had to rebook a SummerSlam event it would definitely be SummerSlam 1995
1- (Opening contest)- Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs The 1-2-3 Kid- Winner: Hunter Hearst Helmsley
2- (WWF Tag Team Championship)- Owen Hart & Yokozuna vs Smoking Gunns (c)- Winners: New WWF Tag Team Champions Owen Hart & Yokozuna
3- (Grudge Match)- Bam Bam Bigelow vs Kama- Winner: Bam Bam Bigelow
4- (Grudge Match)- Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs Hakushi- Winner: Bret "The Hitman" Hart
5- (Grudge Match)- The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer vs Isaac Yankem, DDS w/Jerry The King Lawler- Winner: The Undertaker
6- (Grudge Match)- British Bulldog vs Lex Luger- Winner: British Bulldog
7- (WWF Intercontinental Championship) (Ladder Match)- Razor Ramon (c) vs Shawn Michaels- Winner: New WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels
8- (Main Event) (WWF Championship)- Diesel (c) vs Sycho Sid- Winner: Still WWF Champion Diesel

SummerSlam 93 :
Razor Ramon vs Ted DiBiase - I'm fine with Hall getting the rub here.
Yokozuna vs 1-2-3 Kid - true David and Goliath
WWF Tag Champions Steiner Bros. vs Headshrinkers - in my universe, it was steiners vs Money Inc at Mania, so this match takes place here.
Owen Hart vs Jerry Lawler - Owen gets revenge for his brother.
Intercontinental Champion Marty Jannetty vs Shawn Michaels - HBK wins back the Belt here. Mr. Perfect vs Ludvig
The Narcissist vs Tatanka
Undertaker vs Bam Bam Bigelow Casket Match - finishing the feud here from the Rumble
Smoking Guns vs Heavenly Bodies - throwaway piss break match.
WWF Champion Bret Hart vs Hulk Hogan - in my universe, Bret beat Macho Man at Mania to retain the Belt, but Hogan still challenged the winner like in real life. Here is that matchup.

SummerSlam 2005
WWE Championship- John Cena (c) vs Chris Jericho (Winner: Still WWE Champion John Cena; this was a solid feud back in 2005 and the build-up the promos leading up to it built it up perfectly so match result stays the same)
World Heavyweight Championship (Triple Threat Match)- Batista (c) vs Randy Orton vs The Undertaker (Winner: Still World Heavyweight Champion Batista; Batista pins Orton; Taker isn't pinned) (I would take JBL out of the main event because really he was in enough main events back in 2005 and honestly putting Orton and Taker both in the same match would continue that rivalry whilst involving Batista in it as well you have Batista as the champion trying to defend his title against not 1 but 2 superstars...would have made for a better main event)
Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero (I Quit Match; winner gets custody of Dominic) (Winner: Rey Mysterio; Eddie Guerrero says I Quit) (I would still have the same match but instead of it being a Ladder Match for custody of Dominic I would have made it an I Quit Match which would make this match all the more violent all the more brutal but the result would still be the same in the end)
WWE United States Championship- Booker T vs Chris Benoit (c) vs Christian vs JBL (Fatal 4-Way Match) (Winner: New WWE United States Champion JBL; JBL pins Christian) (Smackdown mid-card match with 4 main event level guys fighting over a mid-card title it makes that title seem all the more important)
Icon vs Icon- Hulk Hogan vs Shawn Michaels (Winner: Shawn Michaels; I would have given Michaels the victory here because let's face it Hogan was a Hall of Famer and didn't really need the win while Michaels being the full-time guy needed the rub needed the win more especially given his heel work in this program you could have built up towards having an eventual rematch)
Edge w/Lita vs Matt Hardy (Winner: Matt Hardy; Matt had so much momentum back in 2005 given that it wasn't all that long when he left the company only to come back into this program with Edge and a win for Hardy would have done wonders for him)
WWE Intercontinental Championship- Shelton Benjamin (c) vs Kurt Angle (Winner: Still WWE Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin; a program of student taking on his former mentor and you include the IC Title in the mix and this match sells; Shelton goes over because then a win over Angle would have elevated Shelton to that next level of being a main event guy)

SummerSlam 2008
Hell in a Cell- Edge vs The Undertaker (Winner: The Undertaker; match result stays the same just like what happened post-match with Undertaker chokeslamming Edge through the ring and then setting the ring on fire with Edge going to "hell" it was perfect)
WWE Championship- Triple H (c) vs Mr Kennedy (Winner: Still WWE Champion Triple H; Kennedy would have won the Battle Royal to become #1 Contender rather than Khali winning it)
World Heavyweight Championship- CM Punk (c) vs Chris Jericho- Winner: Still World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk; HBK would get involved in the match when the referee is knocked out and Jericho tries to hit Punk with the WHC belt HBK is in the ring and hits Sweet Chin Music on Jericho as he leaves through the crowd and Punk then capitalizes off of that hitting a GTS on Jericho to continue the HBK-Jericho rivalry)
(Dream Match)- John Cena vs Batista (First Time Ever)- Winner: Batista; the match result stays the same and the promos leading up to it the build-up was perfect)
WWE United States Championship- Shelton Benjamin (c) vs The Brian Kendrick w/Ezekiel Jackson- Winner: Still WWE United States Champion Shelton Benjamin
WWE Women's Championship- Beth Phoenix (c) vs Mickie James- Winner: New WWE Women's Champion Mickie James

Falls Count Anywhere- Rey Mysterio vs JBL- Winner: Rey Mysterio
Big Show vs Umaga- Winner: Umaga

SummerSlam 2011
WWE Championship- John Cena vs Rey Mysterio- Winner: New WWE Champion John Cena
* This match would have determined who the rightful champion was with the finals of the WWE Championship tournament being held here; this match also would be a first time ever between these 2 men well on a PPV capacity and you include the COO in the build-up as well; Punk for me anyway came back too soon...they shouldn't have rushed his return and Punk would show up anyway but he would show up post-match while Cena is in the ring being presented with the WWE Championship and cue Cult of Personality hitting with Punk making his triumphant return at SummerSlam post-match interrupting Cena to set up the unification match at Night of Champions 2011
World Heavyweight Championship- Triple Threat Match- Christian (c) vs Randy Orton vs Sheamus- Winner: Still World Heavyweight Champion Christian
* Instead of facing off one-on-one every time, something different was needed for the Orton/Christian feud and Sheamus was on a roll up to Summerslam. The No Holds Barred match could've been at MITB to be honest as the feud should really have ended at HIAC. About 2/3 the way through, when all three are tired Mark Henry comes to the ring and destroys everyone (see Big Show No Way Out 2001 main event for reference) before leaving. Christian gets the clean title win he needed & deserved.
Grudge Match- The Miz vs Triple H- Winner: Triple H
* The conspiracy theory was running wild and with Miz pinning all the blame on Triple H...Miz goads him into making a match between them. Time to dust off the shovel, Hunter
WWE Divas Championship- Kelly Kelly (c) vs Beth Phoenix- Winner: Still WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly
* Same. Was perfectly fine for a female match. Beth would win the second encounter in her home town though
Money in the Bank Briefcase is on the Line- Daniel Bryan (c) vs Wade Barrett- Winner: Still Mr. Money in the Bank Daniel Bryan
* Similar story, only they fight over the briefcase. Only difference is I have Bryan win to keep the case and I wouldn't have Barrett be losing round the clock the rest of the time
6-Man Tag Team Match- Air Boom (Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston) & Alex Riley vs Mr. Money in the Bank Alberto Del Rio, Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler- Winners: Del Rio, Rhodes and Ziggler
* No idea why Otunga & McGillicutty had the tag titles. Air Boom win them a couple of weeks earlier and you have this six-man tag match featuring every other prominent superstar and champion on the roster that aren't booked in feuds
Falls Count Anywhere Match- John Morrison vs R-Truth- Winner: John Morrison
* Feud was started in April, and pay-off should've been on PPV and not Raw. Especially when you consider what match they were actually in on the PPV. Morrison's speciality match so it should be a very strong opener.

SummerSlam 88: Bret "Hitman" Hat vs Bad News Brown - they never did have a proper TV ending to their feud The Rockers vs The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers "Ravishing" Rick Rude vs Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat - Rude gets the rub off Steamboat as Jake's interference still causes the DQ in Steamboat's swan song Intercontinental Champion Honky Tonk Man vs Ultimate Warrior Powers of Pain vs The Bolsheviks Big Boss Man vs "The Rock" Don Muraco Tag Team Champions Demolition vs The British Bulldogs - for all they did for the comapny, the Bulldogs deserved one PPV Tag Title match before leaving Hulk Hogan vs "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase - Hogan finally gets his revenge on DiBiase for stealing his Title WWF Champion Randy "Macho Man" Savage vs "Nature Boy" Ric Flair - Naitch has said that he was negotiating to come to the WWF in 1988, and if he did, Vince told him he'd face Randy for the Belt at the first SummerSlam good card. some of the matches happened just a month before ss88 at wrestlefest88 (hart/brown, bulldogs/demo, pop/bolsheviks). bret/brown def needed a tv match of some sort. SNME woulda been perfect for that.
