What is its intended purpose?
I'm hoping it's an organized gallery of clear pictures of all the WWE figures available, would be an invaluable resource considering how many people like to buy extra figs just to tweak them.
I think a few standard shots would be enough for each fig, like front, profile, back, shot of accessories, maybe a head shot, etc.
Maybe make the gallery searchable by skintone and body parts?
Would be a good idea to open the Database to public submissions to make the data collection go faster.

It hasn't been updated in years. Hopefully WF opens up a spot on their web team so someone can do a complete overhaul of the website.

It used to be really helpful and cool. Now it's just dead.

Thanks for the unfortunate info ;_;
Yeah, even if they went with the public submissions I suggested to speed up the collection of data, they still have to pay someone to set up the framework for that system first.

It's been painfully obvious since Mattel took over that the PTB couldn't give 2 sh ts about a wrestling figure database... on wrestlingfigs.com. If you decide to take the initiative and start something up, PJ probably has the best looking shots on here when it comes to Mattel. I'd be surprised at the number of Mattels he DOESN'T have great looking pictures of. Maybe start a thread on both the Jakks and Mattel boards, see if you can get some people interested? I'd help.

Recently we had the WWE Elite checklist updated to Series 48 over on Figure Realm www.figurerealm.com/actionfigure?action=seriesitemlist&id=1414&universeid=924&figures=wweelitecollectionWe have mostly stock photos, but people are free to submit their own to give everyone a better look at the figures, as well as point out variants, heights, UPC numbers, etc. Still, I think it'd be cooler to have a database like that on a site like this, especially if it helps people search for figures they want to buy. (HINT HINT, RINGSIDE lol You could even provide links to the figures in your store.)

I collect mostly older brands so it can be pretty invaluable.
