Hay guys, i was just wondering whats the minimum wage for a 16 year old? Also i got offered a job which is: Saturdays: 8:30 till 5:30 Sundays: 9:00 till 4:00 On minimum wage i haveno idea if this is a decent offer or not lol plus i do a full weeks worth of school so would it be worth taking this on along with school?

yeah, i'd take it aswell...it'll give you a bit of money whilst at school, which is always good... u'd probably earn around £47ish a week...which will be great for ya...

no, if your in full time education they wont tax you, but if they do, you can claim it back.
my friend just got hers back, and it was £700quid.

I think its good for you to have, and it is extra cash for you roughly £200 a month which fora16 year old is pretty good

My sister is 16 and get pays £6.30 an hour, this is at ScrewFix.

I get £5.50 an hour at USC and Im 17 Use to be on £3.79 an hour at JJB though which is bloody ridiculous. I'd take it just to get the experience so that when you leave school you have more chance of getting a better job, possibly in retail

Take the job, but I wouldn't do all weekend if you're trying to work around A-Levels as well. Just from my experience
