Am liking these new figures, just a shame the cards look so cheap!

Does anyone know of a Canadian release date for these figures? WWE vaguely says "spring 2017" for Walmart locations.
A part of me is thinking of just biting the bullet and ordering Warrior and Taker online.

I got the first 4 retro figures so far. I like them a lot.
But they aren't up to the packaging quality of the Hasbros.
The card and bubble seems thin. I also don't like he tiny holes in the bottom of the bubble.

Very nice, thanks for sharing. I can't wait for these to come out in the U.K. stores (been saying this for a while now!) and I'll definitely get them all, however, I've got to agree that the packaging doesn't quite live up to expectations. I understand they've tried to keep it simple and in line with the 'retro' theme, though. I wonder if cost had anything to do with it, as they obviously can't be certain if the line will take off so didn't want to spend out on more detailed figure molds and packaging?
Anyway, as I said, can't wait to get my hands on them all!

Those places are a few hours drive from me but that's great news! I'm sure they'll be in my local stores very soon then. Thanks!

Have we any idea what stores will actually be carrying them? I have seen Fenwick's mentioned but most of the others seem like online outfits (eg Toys and masks Swansea).

I wish they'd not try to cover so many eras so quickly.
I liked that they split the first 6 into a nice mix of one's that go with your originals and new popular guys but now with the next wave having WCW and Attitude Era stars? ...I'm not impressed.
I think if they keep making a ton of a figures that don't go with eachother they're gonna kill the line too quickly.
I'm hoping as Hogan looks more and more like he's in the good graces of WWE that he'll be made.

I wonder if there were licensing restrictions on how closely they could replicate the original Hasbro cards? I love that they are doing these figures but just wish they would have spent a few more minutes on the card design.

I'm happy about the 2nd lineup moreso than the 1st since I'll buy all of S2 but only wanted 2 from S1. But still bummed that there's no Hasbro era WWF guys coming. I don't think we need any more Hogans unless it's WCW attire. Think Hasbro pretty much covered him good well maybe 87'-88' Hulkamania shirt would be nice to have.

I really like these. I think the Hasbro cards are better. One thing I wish Mattel did, would be to include the bio card that the original Hasbros included.

There has to have been certain restrictions, the cards look pretty poor compared to the originals. Also, it was all about the bright colours back then and these cards couldn't be any duller if they tried.

They're as close as they can be without a lawsuit. I think the cards look great.
