Very cool lineup! I don't know a lot about the Masked Superstar, but I always like the retro guys in this forum. And you've got 'em against the Mid Atlantic backdrop, which is a nice touch! The box set is also pretty snazzy, though I feel like you ought to throw in a folding chair or something as an accessory behind them (that's probably just the Jakks collector in me). Very well done, and I don't expect it'll be too long before MaskedSuperstarFan weighs in on this set, too!

Hey Garbagemon, are you trying to say I'm some kind of a Masked Superstar mark or something? Hell....you're right. These are some great pieces, man. The mask sculpting from Henchmen4hire is absolutely top notch so it got off to a good start right off the bat. Superstar had so many masks over the years, these 3 colors are certainly the ones he used most often, so good choice there. Using the Lawler torso was a given since I think that's the only Mattel with that style of singlet. I've tried sculpting singlets like that in the past, and they were kind of a pain to make look decent. The paintjobs are reasonably smooth as well, and what a smart move having pre-match gear available. Is it handmade or did you get it from Ralph's? Either way, I love it, and I love the MACW backdrop too. I have a similar one that I used for some of my older customs (I used to be a fairly active Jakks customizer back in the day). Things like that make a ton of difference when it comes to photos and having them on display. Fantastic job overall, my friend. I can't wait to see more from you. MSF

Thanks gentlemen. Henchmen hit it out of the park with the sculpts. I'm seeing Bill Eadie next month and can't wait to show him this set and have him sign it. I already have a ring worn/signed silver & black mask and have a couple of pics with him wearing the red mask so these were obvious choices for the 3 pack. But you are right, like Ric Flair, Superstar had numerous color combinations. And yes, the ring jacket is available at Ralph's. I wanted to have a glimpse of all of his looks and that little accessory was perfect.
