The world of professional wrestling was caught by surprise on March 26th, 2001 (the purchase was on the 23rd), the RAW before Wrestlemania X-Seven. Vince McMahon buys his long-time rival WCW out for a mere $3 Mil ( in this timeline he pays more for contracts and buys extra full/partial contracts for talent)? Thus began the invasion of WCW/ECW that was to be epic...unfortunately many felt it was a failure that went along with the failure of the XFL. Despite the Invasion PPV having the best PPV buyrate in the history of the WWE (excluding Wrestlemanias), there were too many problems with the Invasion storyline including the relationship between Vince and his kids. Certain WCW stars were on big AOL/Time Warner contracts and decided to wait it out; why work when you're getting a long paid vacation? WCW performers was constantly being crushed (cause of Vince's grudge). Then there were storylines where Austin would turn on the WWF or DDP becomes a stalker etc. At the same time did it make sense for ECW to join in as a faction and should it have? This diary takes place after Wrestlemania X-Seven. WX-Seven goes exactly as it did with the EXCEPTION of Stone Cold Steve Austin's "heel turn". The Rock kicked out of two stunners, but after Austin gets frustrated (argues with the ref), Vince McMahon decides for a "good reason", to knock down the Rock with a steel chair. Austin doesn't realize what Vince did and lands his final stunner to win the WWF Championship. We head to RAW next... |

Hosts: Jim Ross and Paul HeymanVince McMahon comes out strutting to his No Chance theme, wearing a cowboy hat and with a big grin on his face. He's getting a lot of crowd heat for interfering in last night's Wrestlemania main event. Vince gets on the mic.  Vince: You know I got this hat (takes it off) as a gift from you Texans out here for helping Stone Cold win the WWF Championship last night, I appreciate it, in actuality I think it's the stupidest gift someone can get...oo look at me I'm a texan (struts around)...so this is what I think of Texas (stomps on the hat it).
I came out here tonight because I believe you all deserve a reason why I cost the Rock the WWF Championship, ha, in actuality I don't owe (fans) you anything (laughs) because I've been through crap. I saw a woman who I gave everything, Trish Stratus, slap me in the face last night. Then I saw another woman who I had to spend most of my life with, my wife Linda kick me in the gonnads and what does Mick Foley do? He drags me and hangs me into the corner to knee me (in this timeline Shane doesn't get involved at WM17).
I mean what kind of sick people have I've been dealing with lately, who would do such a think to me I am Vince McMahon dammit and the only person I could think of right now who has supported me is my daughter Stephanie and tonight Stephanie, you are going one on one with Trish Stratus in a match because there is nothing more important than family and I know you'll make me proud.
Speaking of family, ha, my son Shane...I can't believe that he signed the contract for the purchase of WCW, I mean it was an underhanding thing to do, in the past I would've been proud but this was WCW, this was the company that dedicated its life to destroy my legacy, to destroy the WWF. And that hurts, it hurts that my son has now become my own nightmare, my own enemy, my rival in sports entertainment. So now you know, now you know what I cost the Rock the WWF Championship. It's because the Rock doesn't have the star power of a Stone Cold, and I need Stone Cold to have the WWF Championship. I did it to show my Shane that WCW isn't even going to lift one finger on the WWF because before WCW can ever rise from the ashes again it'll fall just like that (laughs)- The Glass shatters and Stone Cold walks out to a massive pop. He has the WWF Championship belt with him -  Vince: Now Stone Cold if you're out here to thank me, you don't have to be cause I did what I did for this business, for the WWF. Austin: If y'all want me to open up a can of whoop a## on Vince's McMahon give me a hell ya (fans chant hell ya) Vince: Whoa whoa now now Austin, fine you don't want to thank me that's fine. Austin: I don't thing you understand a damn thing about anything anymore. Vince: I did it for you Austin, believe it or not damn it I need you. Austin: What did you say?
Vince: Dammit...I need you Austin, I need you as the face of the WWF. Austin: Well why don't you shove your own face up your own a## because this belt (WWF title belt) was won by blood, this is a blood reward from the likes of a sob like you and I don't want anything to do with it. I wanted to beat the Rock on my own terms, I wanted to win the WWF Championship the right way by stunning his a## for the one two three, but you didn't give me that. Vince: Look now I know my son Shane and he... Austin: You or your son can take this WWF Championship belt, turn it side ways and stick it up your a##es because I don't want it, and because of what you did how about I let you suffer more than ever...I quit. Vince: What!!!! - Austin kicks Vince, gives him the finger and stuns him hard to a huge pop. Austin drops the WWF title over Vince -  Jim Ross: (on commentary) Stone Cold has quit the WWF! I can't believe it Austin! The devil may have helped you last night Stone Cold but it doesn't have to be like this. Someone's gotta bring him back. Test & APA def. The WCW invasion will start soon enough but as for who the first WCW star will be that invades I don't know who it will be but I wonder if ECW will get in on this invasion too? Because not only did WCW invade but ECW invaded too in this storyline so then how will it work then if only WCW invades?
I wonder where The Undertaker is or even Triple H for that matter or where is Big Show or He Who Must Not Be Named that being Benoit

Shane: I'm here at WWF New York (fans chanting Shane O Mac loud) It's funny how my dad Vince McMahon screws the Rock to hand over the WWF Championship to Stone Cold Steve Austin as a way to counter the resurgence of WCW, my WCW. Yet (laughs) Stone Cold quits on RAW the next night after Wrestlemania. I mean Stone Cold is the biggest star in the WWF isn't he dad? You lost him what a joke. Now of course I know this because I'm still a major WWF Stakeholder, but I own...WCW, it's my own business. You talk about family dad, mom is doing so much better now, but I'm doing better than you because WCW is shaping up quite nicely so my message to you is stay tuned because things are going get very interesting. Vince McMahon makes his way out struting and gets in the ring.  Vince: I know many of you are asking me about the status of the WWF Championship. With that coward Stone Cold Steve Austin quitting on me, well I say good riddens. So I thought about what to do with the WWF Championship and I'll make an announcement on Monday Night RAW because I don't want to make an announcement of this caliber in a place like Oklahoma, which is like Zimbabwe.
On the other hand I have no remorse for what I did at Wrestlemania. I did it because I had to dammit...(The Rocks makes his way out to a huge pop)... Now now Rock, I know you're mad, but you have to understand dammit, this is about WCW, this is about the enemy dammit (Rock has a cold stare and doesn't say anything) Dammit Rock you of all people know what the WCW did to us in the past and I'm not going to let Shane bring back that piece of trash company.
 Rock: Finally...the Rock has come back to Oklahoma! The Rock knows why you did it, the Rock understands why you did it, but you still cost me the WWF Championship, the greatest prize in Sports Entertainment. I had Stone Cold Steve Austin on his toes, he gave it all he had and two stunners couldn't keep me down jabroni. The world knows that if you didn't interfere in that match I would be walking out here the WWF Champion. I felt that chair shot, the millions and millions of fans heard it around the world. Vince: And I would do it again! I will screw you or anyone in the back just to get my way (Rock gets closer to Vince) now now if you lay a hand on me there will be repr.... RAW is WAR
April 9th, 2001
Hosts: Jim Ross and Paul Heyman RAW starts off with a fancy limo making its way to the parking lot. JR (Jim Ross) wonders whose in it as it parks. Shane McMahon opens the door exchanging words with others in the Limo to a pop. Out comes Booker T (to a pop from wrestling fans too) with the WCW World Heavyweight Championship across the shoulder (doesn't have the WCW US title with him) from the otherside of the Limo. Shane says "wait here" to others in the Limo who can't be seen. Shane walks with Booker T as they enter the hallways. Kane (c) def. Kurt Angle & Big Show via pinfall to retain the WWF Hardcore Championship. Kane fought Angle and beat him thereafter Big Show tried to get the title off of Kane right after, but Undertaker came out to help Kane with a double chokeslam and for Kane to make the pinfall. Vince is in the back in his office and Stephanie is with him. He tells Stephanie that he has a bad feeling tonight, and feels like he's going to hurl. A WWF Official walks in and tells Vince that his son is in the back, and he's brought someone with him. Vince looks upset and gets angry. He says to Stephanie that he has an announcement to make right now and doesn't need this. After a commercial break Vince makes his way out with the WWF Championship belt.  Vince: (gets on the mic) Last week I've never been embarrassed in my life, a stone cold stunner, Austin quitting on me when I needed him the most and a rock bottom from the Rock on Smackdown and for all the crap that happened to me I'm going to make this week count dammit because tonight I'm going to crown a new WWF Champion.
That's right and instead of giving you all a match, I'm going to hand over this WWF Championship belt to someone I believe will carry the WWF against Shane McMahon and his WCW. I am crowning this man right now! So ladies and gentlemen, let's welcome out the NEW WWF Champion! (fans wait in anticipation, "My Time" theme is on and Triple H walks out with Stephanie to much heat) Vince: (laughs, still holding the WWF Championship belt) Before I hand this over, I've realized that the WWF Championship should be kept in the family (gets a lot of heat as Triple H smiles) and Triple H is...I gotta say he is family (Stephanie is thrilled).
- Suddenly "Here comes the Money" theme (makes its debut) is on and out comes Shane McMahon with WCW Champion Booker T. -  Vince: (Shane gets in with a mic of his own) What the hell is he doing out here? (Triple H and Stephanie are beside Vince)  Shane: You know dad, it's kind of funny how you come out here and decide to take a Vacant World Wrestling Federation Championship and just hand it over to whoever you want and you talk about keeping it in the family, well mom and I weren't involved in this decision. Vince: I'm Vince McMahon dammit, I own the WWF! I could do whatever I want! Shane: And I own WCW, but I'm also a WWF stakeholder, and dad I mean come on I'm your son, the true heir to your Sports Entertainment Empire...I mean just imagine that Shane McMahon owner of the WWF AND WCW, I will be the king of Sports Entertainment, because let's be honest you wouldn't want to hand down a Championship and the company to these two (Steph and HHH) because the way they've been running things lately, it's an embarrasement. The McMahon-Helmsley Era...is over. Stephanie: You don't know what you're talking about! Shane: O will you just shut up you brat (gets a pop) Vince: Listen to me Shane, you will never ever and I mean never ever take over the WWF after what you pulled! I'm going to take you out of my will! Shane: Well since the WWF is technically owned by all of the McMahons, the four of us dad, mom and I have equal share so you don't have many choices to make because tonight you aren't going to hand the WWF Championship belt to Triple H. You are going to let someone earn it. Someone say, like the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T. Booker: I am the four time, four time, four time Heavyweight Champion and I'm out here for my boss Shane McMahon to make my mark as a contender for the WWF Championship. Vince: You don't belong here, you don't belong in the WWF! Shane: I'm sorry dad, but mom and I have come to an agreement. Booker T is here to stay dad, and I've got a whole army at my disposal to come in and out whenever and however I want. Vince: Damn you, damn you to hell Shane! Triple H show this man what the WWF is all about! - Triple H goes after Booker T (as everyone else leaves the ring), Booker counters and starts landing several punches. Irish whip and Booker lands the 110th Street Slam. He does a spinning wheel to get back up. Triple H tries to get back up and Booker hits the ropes for an Axe Kick to the back of Triple H's head. Shane walks in and holds Booker T's hand up high -  Rhyno def. Crash & Molly Holly in a handcap match via pinfall
The Undertaker def. The Big Show via pinfall
Dudley Boys & Spike Dudley def. X-Factor via pinfall in a Six-man tag match.
Chris Jericho (c) fought Chris Benoit to a Double Countout. Jericho retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship
Raven def. Val Venus via pinfall. Vince McMahon is in his office pissed off as he has the WWF Championship belt on his table. He argues with Stephanie and Triple H and decides that if he won't give Booker T or any WCW star a shot at the WWF Championship. Instead he'll have a 20-man Battle Royal at Backlash to determine who will be the next WWF Champion and to make it "fair", Triple H will be in the battle royal. Triple H likes the idea, but he wants Booker T in it for himself in order to embarrass the WCW Champion and crush the "new WCW" in its infancy. Vince finally agrees and says only Booker T is allowed to be in the match and no other WCW star. After a commercial break, Shane McMahon and Booker T begin to leave and get in the limo. They are noticed talking to others in the Limo as they take off. JR still wonders whose in the Limo with them. The Rock & Trish Stratus def. Triple H & Stephanie McMahon via pinfall in a tag match after Trish pins Stephanie. The Rock says that he wants to be in the Battle Royal at Backlash. |

Yes I too wonder who is in the limo with Shane and the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Booker T? Probably other WCW stars but then wait a minute where are the ECW contingent like RVD, Tommy Dreamer, etc.? But a 20 Man Over the Top Rope Battle Royal at Backlash to determine who the new WWF Champion will be I think is a great idea...it makes things fair and not to mention it is a definitive way to crown a new champion so apparently Triple H and the WCW World Champion Booker T are in and apparently Rock wants in on this Battle Royal I wonder who else will want to get in on it?
I can see Kane, Undertaker, Angle, Jericho, Big Show, Benoit, and whoever else in this Battle Royal
But I wonder with Austin quitting I wonder if he will somehow switch sides in this whole Invasion

Hosts: Michael Cole and TazzTriple H and Stephanie are in the ring to start off the show.  Triple H: On Monday Night RAW, Shane McMahon the new owner of WCW brought in Booker T. Now I know all about Booker T, I know he's the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, but I am the game and these WCW losers have never gotten in the ring with me. They don't stand a chance and at Backlash, at the WWF Championship Battle Royal, I'm going to make sure Booker T gets humiliated and I'll elminate him myself. I'll make sure of it. Stephanie: That's right and my father has just informed me that the Battle Royal will be a lottery, that's right and I'll be the one to pick out WWF Superstars from a raffle box. Could we see the Rock or Kurt Angle, or perhaps X-Pac or Crash Holly wil fulfill their dreams of becoming the WWF Champion. Now I know for a fact that Triple H is guaranteed a spot, and so has that good for nothing WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T....(the Rock comes out to a huge pop)  Rock: (on the mic on the aisle stage) First of all, Trish Stratus and I whooped both of your candy a%%es on RAW and secondly, the Rock deserves another shot at the WWF Championship after it was taken away from me. Stephanie: How dare you interrupt me! Rock: Why don't you know your roll and shut your mouth because I deserve a guaranteed spot at the WWF Championship Battle Royal at Backlash. Triple H: You want a spot, than you'll have to go through me. Tonight on Smackdown, one on one (Stephanie disagrees) and after I beat you in fact we'll take your name off of the lottery. The Rock is in the WWF Championship Battle Royal along with Booker T the WCW Champion and Triple H but I wonder which other WWF superstars will be in the WWF Championship Battle Royal? I know Kurt Angle will be in the Battle Royal as well as other names as Undertaker, Big Show, Kane, Benoit, Crash, Jeff & Matt Hardy, Val Venis, Edge, Crash Holly, Hardcore Holly, Christian, Jericho, etc. but then I wonder if there will be another WCW invasion at Backlash?

Shane McMahon's limo is seen at the parking lot, but no one gets out. JR says that we expect to hear from Shane soon. RAW opening starts off with pyros and Linda McMahon makes her way out to the ring and on the mic.  Linda: Ever since my son Shane bought WCW, as a mother I've been supportive of his decision. But as CEO of the WWF, I have to support the WWF first. I don't like the idea of WCW stars in the WWF, but I came to a compromise because he is my son and he's been there for me in my darkest hour when Vince McMahon was whoring around as the pervert he is. But I wanted to bring out Shane so son, I know you're back there come on out.  Shane: (walks out with WCW Champion Booker T) You look lovely ma! Linda: Thank you son, you know I would do anything for you as a mother, but as CEO, I feel that I made a tiny mistake. I simply cannot allow Booker T, who has yet to face anyone in the WWF, a chance at the WWF Championship in the Battle Royal at Backlash. Booker: Mam if I may, I'm a four time, four time, four time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and in the WCW I am considered one of the greatest Triple Crown Champions. I know there are a lot of guys deserving of the WWF Championship, but I know I'm more than capable of handling anyone, the Rock, Triple H, Stone Cold.... Linda: Unfortunately Stone Cold Steve Austin quit on the WWF because of what Vince McMahon did at Wrestlemania. I have been trying to get a hold of him and I hope that he reconsiders because he'll always have a home here no matter what.
Shane: How about this mom, if Booker T can prove himself tonight you give him a chance for the Battle Royal.  Vince: (No chance plays and gets on the mic on the aisle stage) Now you listen to me here Shane. Now that your mom is clearly on my side... Linda: I'm not taking your side. Vince: As I was saying, since Booker T wants to prove himself tonight than he's going to have to beat not one, but two WWF Superstars of my choosing (laughs) Shane: Bring it on Vince. Vince: It's dad dammit you call me dad! Tonight you'll realize that I wanted to buy WCW to bury it once and for all and you've made a huge mistake investing into that god-forsaken company. Jim Ross: (on commentary) Just who will face Booker T tonight in this handicap match?
Edge & Christian (c) def. Crash & Hardcore Holly (w/Molly) via pinfall to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships
In the locker room several WWF Superstars are talking to Vince about wanting to face Booker T. Vince says he'll make a decision soon enough.

Chris Benoit def. William Regal via submission
In the back, Vince talks to two individuals not shown on camera and says that he wants them to destroy Booker T and injure him so that he can't make it to Backlash. Vince leaves saying "don't disappoint me".  The camera pans to the Brothers of Destruction (Hardcore Champion Kane and the Undertaker). Test, Raven & Billy Gun fought Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn to a Double DQ. The match went into an all out brawl as Test, Raven and Billy Gun call Eddie, Dean and Perry, who are former WCW Superstars, traitors. JR wonders what that is all about . In a post-match promo Eddie, Dean and Perry say that they are loyal to the WWF and have never spoken once to Shane McMahon since he bought WCW. They call it "discrimination". The Big Show def. Kaientai via pinfall in a Handicap match_______________________________ The Brothers of Destruction (Undertaker & Kane) vs. Booker T (w/Shane) in a Handcap match. If Booker T wins he gets a spot at the Battle Royal for the WWF Championship at Backlash.  Taker and Kane wait as Booker gets in the ring and right away uses his WCW World title belt to strike at Taker and Kane. The bell rings and the ref takes the belt away and hands it to Shane. Booker goes after Kane, but Taker sits up old-school style and starts pummeling Booker T. They whip him to a corner as Taker whips Kane into the corner for a clothesline, but Booker gets out of the way. Booker clotheslines Taker and lands a flying forearm smash to Kane. He does a spinning weel and gets in the Harlem Sidekick on Taker. Booker is on a roll. Meanwhile the camera pans to the announce table where Paul Heyman jumps away from someone in fear. The crowd is on there feet to see Kevin Nash (who leaps over the railings) sit down beside JR.  JR: (on commentary) What in god's green earth are you doing here? Nash: (on commentary) Nothing, I thought I'd watch this. JR: (on commentary) Folks I'm here with Kevin Nash, a former WWF AND WCW Champion, you may remember him as Big Daddy Cool Diesel. Nash: (does the Diesel honk honk) Yeah we kicked your a##es in the ratings for years (laughs) JR: Well we won the war. Nash: Why don't you shut up JR and let me handle this. After a commercial break, Booker T manages to do an Axe Kick on Kane and Taker misses a clothesline on Booker, hitting the referee instead. The Brothers of Destruction beat up on Booker T. Taker notices Nash and talks trash. Nash is up and shouts slurs at him. Nash gives him the finger and Taker goes to the outside. Nash laughs it out and drops the mic to talk trash with Taker.  Suddenly DDP (Diamond Dallas Page) gets in the ring as Kane is readying the tombstone pildriver as DDP lands a diamond cutter on Kane! DDP runs out as Shane tries to wake up the referee. The referee starts a ten count, as both Booker T and Kane are up. Booker T goes for an Axe Kick and gets to the top rope for the Harlem Hangover and the pin and win.  Winner: Booker T via pinfall and is now guaranteed a spot at Backlash.As Nash and Taker were exchanging words. Taker notices the bell ring and Nash kicks Taker. Nash gets in a huge jackknife powerbomb over the spanish announce table breaking it in half! Shane gets in the ring to celebrate with Booker T as DDP and Nash join in for RAW to go off the air.

The Invasion begins here with Big Sexy Kevin Nash making his return to WWF TV and the last time he was in a WWF ring was 1996 fast forward 5 years later and in his return he puts The Undertaker through the announce table with a Jackknife Powerbomb and Kane gets laid out with a Diamond Cutter from DDP with Booker T taking advantage...I see WCW stars invading first it was Booker T and now Nash and now DDP I wonder who else will show up?
Now that Booker T is in the Battle Royal I wonder where it leaves stars like Nash and DDP?

Hosts: Michael Cole and TazzSmackdown opens with clips from RAW of the main event match. Shane McMahon walks out with Booker T, Kevin Nash and DDP. Nash gets on the mic.  Shane: As owner of the WCW, I've got with me at this time, some of the greatest athletes in the world today. With me is the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T and these two are one of the greatest tag teams that has ever been in the WCW, The Insiders! Diamond Dallas Page and Kevin Nash...maybe I should call them "New Outsiders" (laughs)?  Nash: Well well look whose back in a WWF ring ha, powerbombing that so-called American bada## on RAW was my pleasure because there's only one real bada## and your looking at him. But y'all know that the Undertaker was one of those guys responsible for getting me out of the WWF in the first place, but perhaps you should blame him for doing so because when you think about it, I was one of those guys that almost brought down the whole WWF Empire (Shane nods).  DDP: Why is he called the Deadman, he looks very much alive to me (Shane laughs). First of all I wanna say that I'm proud of you Booker T, for showing what WCW was all about to all these WWF fans and to those two Brothers of Abduction, or was it Seduction? Whatever because the "New Outsiders" are here now and we mean to stick around for a long time. So if anyone of you bozos in the back want a piece of our world, well we ain't gonna let you cause we'll take your world first bang bang Diamond Cutter!  Booker: So now that I am going to Backlash for the WWF Championship Battle Royal, let's get down to business. For all ya playa haters in the back, you know who you are, like that Triple H, man I've never seen so much ego filled into a pea-sized brain before because Triple H, if you think you're gonna stop me at Backlash, you need to take your head outta your wife's jugs, no offense Boss (to Shane), so for everyone going into that Battle Royal I'm ready for y'all sucka. The Right to Censor fought The Acolytes & Kaientai to a Double DQ.

Rhyno def. Kane (c) via pinfall to become the NEW WWF Hardcore Champion. Tazz sells the Diamond Cutter as being a devestating move as Kane wasn't 100% from the attack on RAW. Kane after the match is in the back really angry that he lost. He starts to throw garbage cans and smash lockers. Commissioner William Regal walks in to calm down Kane and he says that he's spoken to Vince McMahon to try to set up a match for the Brothers of Destruction at Backlash to take on the so-called "New Outsiders".

- The New Outsiders really??? I would have thought that Scott Hall would have been in on this Invasion but Scott Hall I think he will show up sooner or later or that Nash will turn on DDP in favor of Hall and the True Outsiders will be reunited but Nash & DDP are in a match at Backlash against The Brothers of Destruction Undertaker & Kane I think that this will be a Dream Match
- Rhyno becoming the new WWF Hardcore Champion beating Kane...well big assist to DDP because if it wasn't for that interference Rhyno wouldn't have won
- Chyna retaining the WWF Women's Championship beating Molly Holly I wonder just which woman will challenge Chyna next for the title
- I would say the WCW Champion Booker T he owned Triple H in that promo

Hosts: Jim Ross and Paul HeymanA limo drives up to a snowy parking lot outside of the stadium (there was a big snowstorm that day in Denver). Shane, Booker T and the New Outsiders walk right out. Suddenly a few WWF Superstars show up. It's X-Factor (X-Pac, Justin Credible, Albert) and Steve Blackman. Shane: Hold on boys, we aren't here to cause trouble, look at the weather out here get inside and if you wanna talk we could talk. Remember I'm still your boss. X-Pac: You got no business bringing these guys in after what they did to the Brothers of Destruction. WWF 4 Life!
Shane: I'm warning you, my boys here would take care of you if you even dare touch me.  Suddenly men in ski masks appear from behind and attack X-Factor and Steve Blackman with BASEBALL BATS! Shane looks around and tells Booker, DDP and Nash to get back in the limo. The limo takes them all away. JR: (on commentary) What in sams hell is going on out here! Who are these guys? (the masked men leave as "blood" is dripping on the snow on the outside and Albert was thrown into a pile of snow) Paul: I have no idea JR but I wouldn't be surprised if it's some WCW guys. JR: But they came from the Stadium to the parking lot, they must be from within! It's an inside job! Paul: Maybe but Shane left? Something strange is going on here! I don't like it one bit. Rhyno (c) def. Spike Dudley via pinfall to retain the WWF Hardcore Championship In the back the Radicalz: Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn and Eddie Guerrero as well as Christ Benoit are in the hallways. Triple H approaches them asking them about there loyalty. They claim to have full loyalty to the WWF. Triple H wants to know who were the masked men that attacked X-Factor and Blackman, but they have no idea about it. Suddenly the Brothers of Destruction from behind get into a fight with the Radicalz. WWF Officials stop them all, as Triple H tells them all to cool it; playing a peacemaker. The Radicalz forfeit there upcoming match.

Triple H, Booker T and the Rock are in, but he's decided that Triple H will be in at No. 20 and the Rock and Booker T at No. 1 and 2 respectively, because he hates the Rock and he doesn't want to give them any chances at winning.  The Rock comes out to a pop and on the aisle stage he talks trash saying that it don't matter if he's No. 1 or No. 20, he'll defy all odds and win back the WWF Championship. Trish Stratus def. Cole: We are just days way from Backlash, live on PPV his Sunday and one lucky WWF Superstar will walk out from the Battle Royal the new WWF Champion. Tazz: Well don't forget it's happening, no one would've ever believed this would happen, but it's happening. WCW's the New Outsiders will be taking on the Brothers of Destruction in a tag-team match and the Brothers of Destruction are going to be in a handicap match tonight up against the Radicalz with Chris Benoit. Cole: Undertaker and Kane definitely want to send a message tonight to the New Outsiders: Diamond Dallas Page and Kevin Nash. You know Tazz, the New Outiders were once known as the Vegas Connection before they reformed years later as the Insiders tag team in WCW. Tazz: O I know all about their tag team combination and history. The Radicalz Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn, Eddie Guerrero with Chris Benoit make there way out. 
Dean: You know something, on Monday Night RAW the Brothers of Destruction jumped us because they felt...they felt like we were responsible for beating up on the X-Factor and Steve Blackman with baseball bats and hockey sticks. Well tonight the four of us are going to battle it out with the Brothers of Destruction, but I wanted to say that if we wanted to kick anyones as##es we would've done it to your face and made it known that it was us! Eddie: That's right we'd never stoop to that level! Saturn: For all those guys in the back think that we sell outs, they're wrong. We aren't with WCW, we never spoke to Shane McMahon, not once since he bought WCW. Chris: That's because the reality is we are all loyal to the WWF. How many guys in the back have had a history with the WCW? How many guys huh? You know who you are! Did you (to the fans) know that Stone Cold Steve Austin was in the WCW before he got here? PART 1 of 2Chris Benoit def. Kurt Angle in a Submission match. Before the match Kurt Angle says that Chris is a sell out and WCW shill. Benoit was more ruthless in the match as he hates being called a sell out. ________________________________ Chyna (c) vs. Lita vs. Ivory vs. Trish Stratus in a Fatal-4-Way for the WWF Women's Championship
Lita, Ivory and Trish Stratus triple team Chyna for a part of the match. Later in the match, two beautiful women walk out. Jim Ross: Wait just a darn minute who are these girls walking out? Paul Heyman: Wholly smokes I think I know who they are! Jim Ross: They are no doubt gorgeous...I think I recognize them too. Paul: That's WCW's Stacy Kiebler and Torrie Wilson. I bet there here to check out the competition!  Both WCW girls watch from ringside. Chyna gets angry and threatens to jump them. Stacy and Torrie quickly head up the aisle. Lita jumps from the top rope and lands a crossbody while Chyna was distracted for the pin and win. Winner: Lita via pinfall to become the NEW WWF Women's Champion
________________________________ Chris Jericho def. Jeff Hardy (c) via pinfall to become the NEW WWF Intercontinental Championship. It was a standard match till Jericho catches Hardy mid-air from the top rope and gets the walls of jericho in to win back the IC title. ________________________________ The Brothers of Destruction vs. The New Outsiders: DDP and Kevin Nash in a Tag Team match
The Brothers of Destruction make there way out first. They wait in the ring as the camera is behind the curtain with Shane saying goodluck to the New Outsiders.  The original WCW Outsiders theme (slightly modified) is playing and both DDP and Kevin Nash walk out. They get in the ring and right away the Undertaker and Kane go after them! The bell rings as Kane attacks DDP and Taker attacks Nash. It's a brawl as the referee allows for Kane and DDP to start off the match as Taker has Nash on the outsid. Taker wants to powerbomb Nash on the table till as second referee runs out to get them to stop. DDP is working on Kane, but Kane manages to get in a chokeslam for the pin to two. Kane goes for the tag as Taker now works on DDP. Irish whip and Taker gets in a big boot. DDP rolls on out. Taker calls for Nash. DDP gets on the apron talking trash with Taker. Suddenly DDP runs on the apron and hits a Diamond Cutter on Kane (standing in his corner) to the outside! Kane is out cold. DDP is hurt as Taker gets to the outside and lands punches. He tosses DDP in the ring and DDP quickly gets to Nash. Nash and Taker go at it. Taker goes old-school and lands it for the pin to two. Kane finally sits up and gets to his corner. Taker makes the tag and Kane works on Nash. Nash reverses an irish whip and lands his own big boot and gives the finger to Taker. Taker runs in but the ref stops him. Kane is up as Nash gets a sidewalk slam in and pin to two. Nash makes the tag to DDP, DDP hits the ropes for a leaping forearm, but Kane gets out of the way. Kane lifts him up for the tombstone and lands it! The pin and cover, but Nash breaks it. Taker runs after Nash and they both brawl it out. The referee gets them back into the corner. Kane has DDP up and makes the tag. Taker now goes old school on DDP, but suddenly DDP drags Taker down from the middle of the rop rope and mid-air hits the Diamond Cutter! DDP and Taker are out cold. DDP wants to get to his corner to make the tag instead of going for the pin and does it. Nash grabs Taker, but Taker gives him a low blow as Nash falls. Taker makes the desperate tag. Kane is in and lands punches and kicks. Kane goes for a tombstone, but Nash counters it for a jackknife powerbomb! Nash makes the tag. Nash lifts up Kane for another jackknife powerbomb for DDP to hit the ropes and land a reverse Diamond Cutter at the same time for the pin and win! Winner: The New Outsiders via pinfall

In the back Vince McMahon is in his office tearing papers apart and going nuts. Stephanie is trying to calm him down. Vince says it's the greatest embarrassment of his life. He should've never let those two idiot Brothers take on the New Outsiders. Stephanie: Dad it's just a fluke it...I mean... Vince: How could WCW come into my ring and embrass my WWF guys? It's my worst nightmare! I'm going to...I'm going to make sure Shane suffers tonight. Let's go. 20-Man Battle Royal for the WWF Championship Participants:  Vince and Stephanie are out on the aisle stage with the lottery raffle box. Stephanie has the mic and talks about the rules of the Rumble where every one and a half minute she'll take a random name out of the box and call them out. Vince: Wait just a minute before you do anything, I've got an idea...(whispers to Stephanie) Stephanie: My dad Vince McMahon has a change of plans for the first time in a Battle Royal we are introducing a this is...weird dad... Vince: Give me that mic, I'm introducing a new zero slot, Zero because that describes that ungrateful son of mine, that's right at Number Zero, let's bring out Shane McMahon. Shane: (comes out and walks towards Vince and Steph at the podium) What the heck is this? Seriously dad, zero? (laughs) Vince: Your mother and I agree that the WCW has embarassed us enough tonight and so as you're punishment you're gonna get a beating of your life. So get in there right now or I'm going to revoke Booker T's spot you hear me! You can't escape either! Shane looks upset and finally gets in the ring. He takes off his suit jacket and tie. The Rock is No. 1 and he gets in the ring to a pop. The Rock looks at Shane as Vince says on the mic to kick his sorry a## and to keep him in the ring for as long as it takes. The Rock looks at Vince lifts his eye brow and starts laying the smackdown on Shane. He spits in his hand and punches Shane so hard that Shane flies right over the ropes!No. 0 - Shane McMahon - Eliminated No. 1 - The Rock The Rock gets a mic and says: "Finally the Rock has come back to Rosemont Illinois, Vince McMahon you could take back your number zero and stick him straight up your candy a## because I ain't doing your bidding!" Vince has a fit and goes nuts as Shane laughs his way out to the back.No. 2 - Booker T  Booker and the Rock are finally face to face. Booker has the WCW title with him and hands it over to the referee. Booker and the Rock go at it and it's a fist fight. The Rock gets in a huge spit-punch and Booker falls, but gets back up with a spinning wheel and lands a harlem sidekick. Both men go at it till the first name is called from the ballot.No. 3 - Val Venis No. 4 - Test No. 5 - Farooq
The Rock eliminates Val Venis. Booker T eliminates Test. Farooq ends up partnering up with Booker T to go after the Rock. No. 6 - Raven No. 7 - Chris Benoit No. 8 - Dean Malenko No. 9 - Eddie Guerrero No. 10 - The Undertaker
Taker goes after Booker T whose still in it. The Rock goes after Eddie.No. 11 - Chris Jericho No. 12 - Rhyno No. 13 - William Regal No. 14 - Kurt Angle No. 15 - Kane No. 16 - Christian No. 17 - Bradshaw Stephanie: Alright No. 18 is...this can't be! It says...it says...Stone Cold Steve Austin! (GLASS SHATTERS!) Austin rushes out to a MASSIVE POP and starts stunning anyone he can get his hands on (Vince actually jumps for joy).  JR: Stone Cold! Stone Cold! Stone Cold! By god-all-mighty it's Stone Cold! He's back in the WWF! Austin kicks out Regal, Kurt and Bradshaw. Rhyno, Austin, Rock and Booker T are going at it. Austin turns his attention to a tired Booker T. No. 18 - Stone Cold Steve Austin No. 19 - Big Show (gets eliminated as soon as he enters by all remaining participants) No. 20 - Triple H Final Four: Triple H, Booker T, Austin and the Rock. The Rock is attacking Austin. Triple H pedigrees Booker T. Suddenly men in ski-masks jump the railings with baseball bats. They get in and strike Austin, Rock and even Triple H. Booker T is outcold already. The masked men grab a hold of Austin. The lights are out. It turns back on and Austin and the masked men are gone. JR: What the heck is this! Where is Austin? Vince goes ballistic and is afraid now. Vince tries to get people to find Austin. Triple H and the Rock are up, Booker T does his spinner-a-roonie and is up. He lands an Axe Kick on the Rock as the Rock fall. He goes after Triple H. Triple H whips Booker to a corner. Booker walks towards the middle of the ropes. The Rock us up till suddenly as Triple H was going for Booker, Booker ducks and Triple H clotheslines the Rock outside of the ring. Triple H is upset and can't believe it.
 The Titantron turns on and Austin who is still a legal man is tied up in a chair all bloodied up and unconscious. He's in the back of his own pick up as the masked men drive away with him! Suddenly the Brothers of Destruction stop them and manage to pull Austin out of it as the truck drives off. WWF Officials attend to Austin. Booker T gets a 110th Slam in. Booker goes for the Harlem Hangover, but Triple H lifts his foot up. Triple H is up and tosses Booker over, but Booker lands on the apron. Triple H is on his knees and gets up thinking he won, but Booker grabs a hold of his hair and suplexes him over the rope on the apron. Both men are punching and kicking on the apron, till Booker high kicks Triple H who falls. Booker falls to the ground thereafter and jumps in and the bell rings. Winner: Booker T and NEW WWF ChampionVince goes insane and rushes to the ring. Vince: No no no (grabs the WWF title belt from the ref), Stone Cold Steve Austin is still a legal man! You're feet (to Booker) were outside of the ring when you went over the top ropes so Austin is still in and since he's the last man left so Ladies and gentlemen the NEW WWF Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin! Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin via decision and NEW WWF ChampionVince walks to the back as Booker T leaves upset with his WCW title. Austin is in the back getting medical attention as some of the WWF guys shout that he won the match. Austin is sitting on the ER bed and goes nuts. He starts punching out a few WWF Superstars and WWF Officials try to stop him as Backlash goes off the air with JR saying what in the world is going to happen on RAW.

Hosts: Jim Ross and Paul HeymanRAW opens as Shane McMahon walks out with Booker T, DDP and Nash. Shane is on the mic.  Shane: Last night history was made when the New Outsiders Diamond Dallas Page and Big Sexy Kevin Nash, representing WCW, my WCW, defeated the Brothers of Destruction. These guys humiliated the WWF like no one has ever done before. Then, Vince decides to put me in the Battle Royal. I tried hey I tried, but the Rock is the Rock I got to give it to him.
On the other hand everyone saw last night how Booker T defied all odds coming in at No. 2 and go on to win the WWF Championship. And what does "dad" do? He decides to give the title to Stone Cold Steve Austin who disappeared...I mean give me a break he wasn't even there in the ring. Hey dad how many times did you accept a Battle Royal winner when there was still a legal man around? Booker T should be the WWF Champion, not Stone Cold...(No Chance plays) Vince: (walks to the ring on his own) Look at you...I mean just look at you Shane. Any father would be proud, but not me. (Shane laughs with the others) Dammit Shane look at me when I'm talking to you and yeah I'm not afraid of any one of you. WCW is nothing you hear me and there is nothing you can do about it because the WWF Championship stays in the WWF and Stone Cold Steve Austin is the WWF Champion dammit. Shane: I was on the phone with mom earlier this morning, o and Vince her divorce attorneys still want to talk to you...anyway mom has agreed with me that Booker T should've technically been awarded the WWF Championship last night. So how about this dad, tonight on RAW, Booker T takes on Stone Cold Steve Austin. Title for title, Champion versus Champion, that's right the WCW World Heavyweight Championship will also be on the line... Vince: No Chance in hell! Austin is no condition to compete tonight and probably not for a...umm maybe not for a few weeks...
Shane: Wait just a minute he can't compete? Are you telling me that he was beaten so bloody last night that he can't compete at all? What happened to regulations dad, if he can't compete than that means he has to forfeit the WWF Championship.
Vince: Go to hell Shane! You hear me! You're at fault here you hired those masked goons to bring him down!
Shane: Wait just a minute you're saying those guys in a ski mask that happened to "abduct" Stone Cold were my guys because here's a secret dad, I have no idea who the hell they are.
Vince: It doesn't matter because Austin is not defending the title tonight...  GLASS SHATTERS, Stone Cold Steve Austin drives an ATV into the ring. He's all bandaged up over his body with knee braces, his forehead patched and has multiple stitches. Austin walks in with the WWF Championship belt with him. He struggles to get to the top rope, but does it to display the belt up high as the fans go wild. Austin: (gets on the mic) You don't get to make that decision for me you son of a bi##h (to Vince). (looks at Shane) What you pulled last night with your WCW guys took a lot of guts, I want my truck back. Shane: Those guys that abducted you I have no idea who the hell they are. I had nothing to do with your truck understood?
Austin: It's a no brainer that you're involved. Look at you Shane you buy WCW from under your father's a## and now you bring in Diesel, Diamond guy and Booger T. Booker: It's Booker T sucka!
Austin: You (Booker) almost earned my respect last night, but now I don't give a rats a## anymore because tonight even though I have broken bones and scars, I'll beat your a## so hard you'll never step in a WWF ring again and that's the bottom line because Stone Cold said so! (Austin's theme is on) Vince looks extremely upset and looks at Austin saying he doesn't want him to compete tonight. Austin gives him the finger and leaves. Matt Hardy def. Eddie Guerrero (c) via pinfall to become the NEW WWF European Champion. Once again Eddie is accused of being a traitor in the back. X-Pac def. Spike Dudley via pinfall
Rhyno (c) def. Chris Jericho (c) in a non-title match.Vince is in the back talking to WWF Commissioner William Regal. He says he can't believe Austin is going to compete tonight and is going against doctor's orders. But right now Vince is too busy looking for a new secretary after Trish slapped him in the face at Wrestlemania. There is a knock on the door and it's Stacy Kiebler.  Vince: Hey wow...you are?
Stacy: (smiles and flirts with Vince) Hi I'm here for the interview for the secretary position. Regal: (whispers to Vince's ear) Sir that's Stacy Kiebler, from WCW. Vince: WCW? What!! I can't do this right now (shuts the door as Stacy looks upset and says she has to try harder and leaves) The Acolytes def. Crash & Hardcore Holly via pinfallTest def. Triple H (w/Steph) via pinfall. A big upset after the Rock who blames Triple H for losing in the Battle Royal interferes in the match.
Lita (c) def. Ivory via pinfall to retain the WWF Women's ChampionshipStone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs. Booker T (c) (w/Shane) for the WWF and WCW World Heavyweight Championships Title for title, Booker T gets in first with the WCW belt. Austin comes out with his ATV. He's definitely still hurt when he limps to get into the ring. Austin gets in and he goes after Booker with a few punches. He whips Booker T to the ropes, but Booker hits him with a Superkick. Booker T goes on the offensive on Austin. Austin struggles to fight back and manages to get Booker into a corner to kick him down. Austin is dazed and rolls out the ring. He gets to his ATV and grabs a beer. He starts drinking it. Austin gets back in the ring looking pumped. Booker however hits him with a Harlem Hangover. Booker is up, he gets Austin up and lands a german suplex. The match continues as Booker has the advantage over Austin. Vince McMahon walks out to watch the match. Booker hits the ropes for an axe kick, but Austin grabs his legs and turns him around for a stunner! Austin goes for the pin one two KICKOUT! Austin can't believe it. Austin is now looking exhausted. Austin could barely get up and uses the ropes to gradually do so as Booker T is still knocked out. Vince is shouting at Austin to get up and when Austin struggles to do so and finally does get up, he gives Vince the middle finger. Booker T does the spinning wheel to get back up and land a 110th slam for the pin and win!

 Booker T celebrates in the ring with Shane who gets in to hand him the WWF Championship belt.  Vince is in utter shock, trying to rip his own hair out as RAW goes off the air and JR leaves saying to see what happens on Smackdown. |
