The first had so much potential but lacked any kind of campaign. Or anything great that you could play with a friend. You were virtually forced to play with 20 random players online. And while that could be fun for a while I got no real satisfaction out of it because I'm not that good at the CoD/Battlefield style of play against others. I want to work with a friend completing storylines, missions and objectives.
I already love the fact that the 2nd one is going to cover all eras. Can't wait to play as Maul, Rey, Kylo Ren and Grievous if he's in. I just hope that there's a lot more content besides "go online and get wrecked by people who are better shots than you." At least I was good at Fighter Squadron.

Star Wars Battlefront was  in awesome...... for a couple of days then you realized just how little depth the game had. It looked great, sounded great, but it was really harsh with the DLC, considering the initial release had so little content. While I am interested, I will be waiting to see reviews and videos before I give EA my money. |

Outside of seeing just how great the game looked, the only enjoyment I got from my bit of time with the game was when they added the ability to play against bots. And even then, that only lasted a few matches. I can't hold it against any game if I'm simply not good at multiplayer, and I understand that the series has always focused on that aspect. But it would have been nice to have some sort of additional content for solo-gamers, considering how beautiful the presentation was on the game. |

i actually had a lot of fun with this game...but i'm not usually into shooters so this was a break from my normal gaming. i'll look into this one for sure

The single player campaign is cannon, and apart of authentic Star Wars lore.
Classes are back, 4 classes for each faction.
Customizeable weapons and armor for all classes.
All eras are represented. With tons of different vehicles for all.
Heroes that we have seen on stream so far: Darth Maul, Yoda, Rey, Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Jango Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
SPACE BATTLES BAYBAY.
Release date: 17th of November 2017.
Pre-Order bonus: Rey and Kylo skins from The Last Jedi, 3 days earlier access and some minor upgrades for your troops to give you abit of a headstart.

I bought this game earlier today and just finished the story mode. WOW!!! If you are a Star Wars fan, this is a must. All cannon to the films.
