Not sure why you're blindly defending Mattel here. Storm beat them to the market with a Hollywood Hogan figure, which is a major blow from a marketing standpoint, and it will also likely impact the sales of Hollywood Hogan once Mattel can finally release him. It's especially more embarrassing when Mattel presented a prototype of the figure. This is what they get for stalling on releasing highly demanded figures - instead they release every obscure variation of Hogan, yet they fail to release his one other iconic look beyond the red/yellow. They got greedy by trying to build to some fictional crescendo of Hulk Hogan products, and now they have egg on their face, BROTHER. You're goofy in the head, or something. This is one of the most embarrassingly ridiculous paragraphs I will ever read. How am I blindly defending Mattel? How can this be embarrassing to Mattel when they cannot legally produce a Hogan figure? Here's your answer...it's not. This will not affect Mattel's eventual release of nWo Hogan, even a little bit. I will buy one of the Storm Hogan figures. I will also buy the eventual Mattel nWo Hogan figure, along with the overwhelming majority who also bought the Storm Hogan. What you wrote is pure nonsense. Do better next time! It's too easy to get fanboys worked up these days. Also taking personal shots shows you have nothing left to say except argue. Good look. I'm not going to further engage you on a topic we obviously disagree about.

Slap a Mattel NWO Championship on this and it should be perfect. I'll probably replace the shirt with a NWO one too.

shocked and surprised at the price, figured it would be 49.99 or more, I will be grabbing one for sure. I was a definite no when it was $50, but now I am REALLY considering it! Had no idea it dropped to a very reasonable price

I almost wish they would've given us an alternate head or made this one with the pursed lips like on the large scale figure. Still cool looking though!

I got Storm's Sub-Zero a few days ago. He's a really solid and sturdy build.

There's no fanboyism going on. It's just a fact. Most people that buy Mattel figures won't even know that Storm is making this figure. The inevitable nWo Hogan figure will dramatically outsell the Storm figure. That's not a shot at the Storm figure, it's just a matter of Mattel's being more widely available.

I like the Mattel smiling sculpt and would want to put my street clothes fix up head on the Storm body.

Its the only thing I've preordered in forever it seems....so I'm checking my email more often than normal, just hoping for a shipping notification. Its nice to get excited for something for once. Lol I know, right? My interest in wrestling figures in general has been kinda dipping a bit in the past few months. I think I'll be getting a little more into it in the near future because figures of Kurt Angle and the Hardys should be coming soon. But lately there hasn't been a whole lot that's grabbed my attention. This Hollywood Hogan, on the other hand, has me insanely hyped. To be honest, I'm genuinely surprised that this thread isn't bigger than it is. I don't know if it's simply because the figure isn't out yet or if it's because this is in the 'other brand's forum which generally gets less traffic, or because it's technically not a Mattel nWo Hogan. If it's the latter I think it's ridiculous. If people wanna be die hards and not purchase this because it isn't a Mattel figure, I think they're crazy...but to each his own. The price really isn't bad, at all especially considering a lot of figures on RSC are closer to 30 bucks anyway. I think this figure will be a homerun, and once people have them in hand I believe they'll see how fantastic the scale, detail and articulation is

This figure is so great and in scale with Mattel and only an extra ten bucks more (sometimes less by RSC standards) than an Elite/DM? From a smaller company? I see stuff like this and all the other lines in the toy section and I think...Mattel are just lazy and overpriced. I hope Storm is able to pick up the license for guys like Cody Rhodes, Alberto El Patron, Raven, etc and really give us a set of modern figures we like. Oh and the new Agent 47 Low-Ki....by Storm? That'd be sick. It is cool for them to have Hogan and only Hogan but I hope they're looking at expanding and getting their stuff into stores.
