The other day I won 2 Hasbro figures that were partially glued (right arms). They were Andre the Giant and Dusty Rhodes. I actually got them both for half of the price of what they normally go for. The glue part doesn't really bother me since I'm don't play with them. What are your thoughts about "glued" figures?

If you ever plan to resell the figures later on it may be a concern.
Repairs of any kind could make or break a sale with many collectors.

I think as long as you can't see the glue and if you're not going to play with them, who cares?
My only problem is that I find the glue is very hard to not notice and seems to need to be reapplied over the years, at least that's been the bane of my Jake Roberts existence.

My issue would be if the seller didn't tell me about the glue and/or show pictures of it.

Half the price is an indication that the figures have been tampered with. In the case of Dusty, at least.

I think if they're gonna just stand on display, no problem. If the seller was trying to stiff you, then I'd have an issue. But like you said, you didn't pay full price. So it probably all worked out in the end.

I knew going in that these two figures were glued in some way. It was also stated in the auction clearly. I will be displaying these since I don't play with figures anymore. I'd be lying if I didn't say that I was surprised that I got both figures for less than $20 ($16.50).

Not for me.
As good as a custom. I'd want the figures as original as can be. Suppose if you like that's all that matters

I do have an extra Dusty and Andre that are not glued. I used the glued ones to pose in my Hasbro ring.
