So in my area (Suburban Chicago) I have been hunting for E49. After going to 3 Walmarts after work, I finally get to the 4th Walmart and walking down the isle I spot Enzo and got excited. But as I got to the section and went to grab it, here's what I saw.. This has been a huge problem at retail for me. It also bugs me when I bring this up to management and they don't do a single thing about it. It's really disappointing because I can't see children doing this, and it's pathetic that a grown adult would swap figures. If you can't afford to buy, simply don't buy. Don't ruin it for someone else who's willing to spend their hard earned money.

Scrubs, man ... this is just one more reason why I hate retail.

Of course it is adults doing it and in your case they didn't even try to hide the fact that they were opened as the sides are noticably opened. And yes it is very frustrating when you see that. Especially if you bring it to the stores attention only to still see the same figures on he pegs the next time you are at that store.

Same thing happened to me with 47 b. I turned the corner and saw elite 47 b Goldust, Rock and Kane. Got there and all 3 were repacks. It is getting much worse in my area.

WOW! What bungholes.
One time at a Target I had to stop a dad from buying a Warrior figure because they replaced the HOF Elite with a basic. I felt so bad, because his kid didn't deserve it.

It irks me because I don't see any other line of toys getting swapped other than WWE's line. The packages are way too easy to get into in the first place. On top of that, you have employees who don't know, or don't care to know what the action figure inside of the box looks like. So people will continue to get away with this.

That's another reason it sucks. Kids have no control over that stuff, and I know it would be a crappy feeling receiving a swapped figure as a birthday or Christmas gift.

That sucks. Some kid is going to buy that and not realize it.

Amen bro.....I can't see how anyone who works at Wal-Mart or any store for that matter would take something like this back when they can clearly see it's been horribly repacked, a total lack of common damn sense. Then there's the shitheads that brought them back to the store, like you said, if they can't afford to collect then don't f**king collect!!! This is inconsiderate & ruins it for us all.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if people swapped them in the stores because there's no effort to tape the box back together

I saw this one a day or so ago at Target. Don't know how these aren't noticed by the person taking the return.

As bad as all the above sightings are, the closest walmart to me has zero elites ,outside of the WM HBK and HHH....both with title belts stolen, however they recently "got in" 1 lone elite series figure.......the last elite Sin Cara........with the Legends re-release Ultimate Warrior crammed in the box instead. While i need neither that Sin Cara nor that Ultimate Warrior, i was still astounded that they took that ripped up box with a figure that in NO WAY matches the face on the box.

I never understood the point of coming back just to return the fig if you put a basic in its place. I think it would be smarter to put the elite in the basic package and just buy it that way but what would I know, I actually pay for all my figures.
